Good morning John,

I hope nobody minds me jumping in here, but I'm not quite sure that you're understanding where the contention is coming from. Once again, you painted all IFB's, as reckless, apostate goofs, and wild-eyed kooks, who have no business even existing, as they hop around like energizer bunnys, and scream scripture without any sort of understanding, or presence of The Spirit. You've dismissed the fact that myself, and US have said that we've never experienced any of these sorts of "yee-haw" preachers. I think Dr Tim may have said the same. A lot of time on planet Earth between us, and I've lived all over the country, never having come across a single one. Sure, they are out there. I've seen them on TV, and I've seen them street preaching on YouTube, but not in a single church I've been to. Just something to keep in mind, because "yee-haw" preachers just aren't the standard. Maybe they're concentrated in a particular part of this country, I don't know, but the "yee-haw" style certainly isn't one I've witnessed.

The broad, down with them all, brush, is the issue, John, because you're convicting all, for the crimes of the few. The problem is who the "yee-haws" align themselves with. By the way, I'm not a KJV onlyist, but I do prefer it.

Profound or what?"

Wow John, that was seriously deep. You really do have a gift for thinking outside of the box. I have no idea how you come up with this stuff, but your brainpower is impressive, to say the least; always leaving me in utter awe. 😊

The old reformers, and anyone else, before, or since, had good reason to refer to the Roman religious machine, and its Papacy, etc., as mystery Babylon; the great harlot. We don't believe this because others merely said so, and we follow blindly, but rather, scripture points to it, and describes it pretty clearly, in my opinion. I'm not quite sure how anyone arrives at any other conclusion, unless cherry-picked descriptors are being pulled out to build the case. As a whole, prophetic scripture seems to point straight to Rome. I think anyone who believes that Israel is the great harlot, has to work really, really hard to build that case, and build it with very scant prooftexts.

I'm not claiming to know for certain, but what I've studied, just doesn't jive any other way.

Yes it is, QC, and they're even closed on Sundays. An enormous loss for anyone else, but a gain for Chic-fil-A. Pretty amazing.

"The Writers Guild of America had said Kemp’s signing the law would force talent “in our industry” to “leave the state or decide not to bring productions there.” Actress Alyssa Milano had released a letter of 50 actors threatening a boycott if Kemp signed it."

Pathetic. "We will boycott the State of Georgia, if you dare to sign into law, a bill that would prevent women from murdering the babys they're carrying, for any reason, whatsoever, just because the little buggers have a beating heart....take this luxury away from us, and we will declare war."

"Oh, and don't forget to sign my petition on change.org to lobby lawmakers to make the abuse, or killing of puppys and kittens, a capital offense, and punishable by death...thanks my peeps."

Just imagine if/when the liberals gone mad, are ever running this country again. This nation will implode. Just look at what they're doing since Trump was exonerated after two long years of nothing but phoney investigations. They want the fully, unredacted report for no other reason than to see who of them are gonna be facing some serious music. I sure hope Barr digs real deep, and exposes every single one of them, and their crimes, and that includes Mueller for knowing that there was no collusion very early on.

About two weeks ago, a lady called in to a Q&A hour with a Roman Catholic Bishop. The lady was concerned about a relative, who went from being a faithful Catholic, to an Athiest. The Bishop's response to her was that her relative was just backslidden, and offered prayer, etc. Roman Catholicism is filled with such deception, and devils.

Thanks TMC...people get all worked up over absolutely nothing. The reason why this story gained so much traction, was because of the writers choice of words, eavesdropping, which gets everyone to stand to attention and start talking conspiracy.

Just like when AG Barr used the word, spying, instead of, intelligence gathering, etc....words have power. Now poor Ms Alexa has got to go, because she's a super spy, and logged me asking her to play, Amazing Grace. I can't have such personal information being recorded, because what if it gets into the wrong hands? 😊

“When I was in 8th grade and I was reading Greek mythology, it dawned on me how much of the supernatural interactions between the deity of the bible and mankind sounded like ancient mythology. That seed of doubt never went away,” he said.

How incredibly tragic, and to slam Christendom, as a whole, because he was taken to task for his infidelity, what a crock. He still lives with his lover, yet always refused to repent, or even acknowledge it, as he stood behind a pulpit, and preached Christ.

After denying the faith, he went on to say that although his marraige was a sham, he did everything right? Really buddy...cheating on your wife is a part of doing everything right?

How tragic. I just can't imagine ever denying Christ, or chalking God's Word up to pure mythology. I feel so sorry for this guy, because his eternal fate is now sealed...there's no turning back for him.

Hebrews 6:4-6
"For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame."

I realize that we're all with sin, and that it's only by God's grace that we've been called out, but these sodomites are a vile bunch. Intolerant, filled with unbridled rage towards anyone who disagrees with their lifestyle, and the things they do, and they're just plain gross. The things they do in secret makes me want to heave, as does any man who walks, talks, and acts effeminate. OBama opened the door, and they've steamrolled across this nation like a plague ever since. They have a stranglehold on this nation, and because everyone is catering to them, they've become an unstoppable force, to the point that kids no longer know if they're a boy, a girl, or neither, and their lifestyle is being glamorized as the cool thing to do/be. AIDS is never even a topic of discussion anymore, because it's too scary, and hurts people's feelings, so you'd think it's been all but cured; a disease of the past, because the nation has gone silent on it. Dark and crazy dayz.🙁

Hi John, a small fraction of the reason might be because you're gone for weeks at a time at times. You've been pretty random in your appearances, but at the same time, I'm not sure which comments you're talking about. The truth is that most of the comments people make never get responded to. Mine don't either, and that's okay, but the point is that you're not alone, so don't take it too personal. Some of the comments might just be nonsnse, too.

Hindsight is always 20/20. People always say, "Those horrible Jews...they murdered The Christ; they crucified our Jesus, and they're gonna get theirs". Here's the thing...any one of us could have been the Roman soldiers who mocked, beat, and whipped Him. Any one of us could have been those who spit, and threw stones as He tried to carry His own cross to Golgatha. Any one of us could have been those who stood at the foot of the cross, as He hung there, laughing, and challenging Him to free Himself. We only say, "No way, not me", because of what we know now...perfect hindsight.

Satan murdered Jesus, and he just happened to use some Jews to get it done, but it could have been anyone from anywhere. Jesus just happened to choose to be born in that neck of the woods. We blame the Jews, as a whole, when that's just not accurate, because many were with Him. The whole nation wasn't against him...The Pharisees were, and a governing authority that carried out their wishes. Many (Jews) followed Him, loved Him, and believed He was The Christ, their redeemer, The One sent from on high.

"Thank you Andrew, you put me straight on that one. I always thought it was a biblical verse, but it transpires it is a modern proverb, based upon Bible verses."

Sorry John, I was in a hurry earlier, which is why my follow-up was so short. Anyway, yes, it's a modern proverb, but the same basic meaning, nevertheless. You aren't alone, and I'd bet most Christians believe it to be an actual verse of scripture. I did for most of my life.

I wanted to go back to your original thoughts, and wondering if your position has changed at all, keeping in mind what I said earlier:

"I'm not saying that the Proverb intends for children to be physically punished as the only means of correction...proper guidance and appropriate discipline."

I'd never advocate beatings, either, or grabbing a 2x4 instead of a switch, etc. Yes, when you love a child, like your friend does his, it's heartbreaking too see them hurt and in tears, but hopefully the end justifies the means.

Good morning, John...

Sanctions just don't work on many kids, and sanctions most definitely don't earn any respect for a parents authority in matters of discipline, and as head of household. A child faced with "sanctions", and when they know the worst punishment they have to fear are these sanctions, such as having their smartphone taken away, or being grounded, the sky is the limit on their language, name calling, and even physical encounters. Why should any kid hold back when they know the worst punishment they'll face is some sanction?

I've seen it many, many times where the kids will scream vulgarities, call names, and throw things when getting punished, and being informed of their upcoming "sanctions". They have nothing to fear but being inconvenienced, so the sky is the limit on how they rage.

Now, the other thing I've seen many, many times is how children respond when they know any mis-behavior, or acting out, will be met with a spanking. I'm not talking about beating with boards, but skin to skin, a solution that has always had excellent results.

Did I get you to re-think your position at all, or no? The passive parent is always doomed, and sanctions alone rarely correct an unruly child, if ever at all.

"Christopher, you are right, it is incredibly sad. And to die in such a way! Personally, I would ground all passenger aircraft, and never again would the sadness of people being killed in those machines occur. This is why I so appreciate the lifestyle of Amish, who I doubt experience many deaths from pony and trap accidents."

There seem to be so many more major tragedies lately, in the air, and on the ground, with mass casualties. Yesterday was the first time I began to wonder if I care to fly anymore. People say there are so many more car accidents, but just one aircraft going down results in a whole lot of death. People remain carefree, because those sorts of things only happen to others, but every life lost thought the very same thing.

Anyway, the people who burned to death is hard enough to process when just thinking about it, but imagine the nightmares those who saw them burning, and screaming are having to deal with. The sights and sounds aren't anything they'll soon forget.

Hi Diane, Pat Robertson really said that? Unreal. I wonder how he wiggled scripture around to justify that little gem. I wonder if his premise was that if one spouse didn't remember the other, then they don't remember getting married, so the marraige is null and void, since one half doesn't remember it anyway? This is the only nonsense I can imagine that he may have come up with

I watched the video of this tragedy yesterday, and feel so bad for all of those people who were in the rear of the plane. They burned to death...I can't even begin to imagine death by fire. So sad, and terrible to think about what their familys are experiencing right now, emotionally. 😔

Interesting times were living in, and the political arena has become just as interesting. Also interesting is how utterly blind the up and coming generation is, and how blind liberals in general have become. The estimated number of liberals who will run for the Presidency in 2020, is 18-20, I believe, which should be interesting when it comes to the debates. The blindness of their voting sheep though is the interesting part, because those who are already campaigning are promising the most ridiculous, unattainable things, and the sheep eat it all up, as if any of what the candidates are spewing will ever come to pass. The candidates promises are covering everything that any voter would want, no matter how outlandish, and they are being believed. How ridiculous, ignorant, and nonsensical. To top it all off, it seems that in order to be a fan favorite these days, the candidate needs to hate Trump, be a sodomite, lesbian, or trans, support full term, innocent little baby murder, and be more liberal than anyone else. A nation gone stark raving mad, and a political party frothing at the mouth for absolute, socialistic power.
