Great Sermon! After hearing this first sermon I can't wait to hear the rest. It's going to be very profitable, as it already has been from this first message.
Great Sermon! I hadn't thought of the gospel in those three specific words before but I'm glad to hear this message because keeping these three in mind when sharing the gospel will help me to stay on track. Great Sermon! How great is God love to repentant sinners.
Great Sermon! I pray this message will be heard by everyone. It has encouraged me to try harder to do all things, even when no one is looking, to the glory of our God.
Great Sermon! This series on the life of David is a blessing to me. I love to hear what his life was like and how God manifested His glory through him.
Always Convicting - But Needed This sermon is packed with excellent teaching from the Word of God. The illustrations, practical advice and great insight, from this pastor, have really blessed me. We all know how much trouble our tongues can cause and how hard it is to control. Things we should have said and things we shouldn't have said. Being able to communicate with others is a wonderful thing, something to be cherished, it's a huge responsibility as well. Can you imagine not being able to communicate, that would be horrible. Thanks be to our God who made us in His image. Oh Lord keep guard over my mouth.
Great Sermon! This exposition through the book of James continues to bless me. I'm convicted and encouraged at the same time. Repentance is an every moment objective as we grow in grace.
We need to take this sermon very seriously. Are we abiding in Christ through the word of God and the power of His Spirit? This is an excellent sermon. The word of God is everything for us who believe and what will condemn the unbeliever in the judgement to come. We better be very serious about receiving the Word.
Great Beginning! Great beginning to this new series in the book of James. "But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned." (1 Cor. 2:14) So much trouble has come from the preaching of spritually dead men. Thank God for His faithfullness to raise up men who fear Him, in the Spirit, and can discern His Word. Faith/works? Can you discern how these two work together? I've learned a lot from this message.
Woe Is Me! This sermon and the other three are good. Submission should come easy to us because of how great our God is, but woe is me, it's so hard. Isn't that sad. Praise to God that He is always at work for His glory and our good. Praise to God that Jesus is our righteousness. I appreciate the compassion that comes through in this series.
Excellent Sermon! When will we truly rest in the love of God? This sermon blessed me so very much. I love being loved. Everyone is looking for love in the wrong place if it isn't in Jesus.
Great Sermon! This series "Christ Crucified for Us" is outstanding. Oh what love is this that our Lord should suffer so for us. Dear God, make us more like Jesus.
Great Sermon! May God open the eyes and ears of His people to see Him as He is, to hear and believe in their hearts what is true of Him, that we may worship Him in spirit and in truth.
An Exhortation for the New Year If we want to be happy we need to grow in grace. This is an excellent message. I was blessed to hear of God's grace to us and our need to grow in sanctifying grace, and the importance of knowledge.
'Giving is a tangible proof of our love.' An example to follow is set forth and there is much here that we can learn from the troubles that Paul went through. "Calvin said, 'There is nothing which is more apt to lay one open to sinister implications than the handling of public money.'" The principles for giving and handling money are the same throughout time and good to know. "Giving is a tangible proof of our love." is taught using Luke 7 at the end and is very, very good. This is an excellent series on giving and handling money.
What part does a believer have with an unbeliever? Tons of practical application here for a doctrine that is very often misapplied, with the resulting heartache that ensues. "Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? And what agreement has the temple of God with idols?" (2 Cor. 6:14-16a NKJV)
Great Sermon! "The self-righteousness of the sadducee's and the liberalism of the pharisee's are infectious ideas and still are today." This is a very good sermon. I appreciate the reminder that the church belongs to Christ and what it's purpose is.
