This of course has to do with a public teaching (Pastoral) position. This forum is not a church. Furthermore, following your logic the woman who informed the disciples of Jesus' resurrection should have kept quiet! You ought to think about context before applying the Bible to certain situations. Did they teach you nothiong at BJU??

Funny how a lot of folks in America think the nation is like a modern Israel - a Theocracy if you will. It isn't. God's people are but a remnant in the nation, but not the nation itself. God will bless His people and He will condemn the wicked. The verse in 2 Chronicles 7:14 is overused in relation to modern countries and nations. America never was a Christian country - it just had far more Christians than other nations. We do not have a corner on God's blessing - we never did have. As for the conspiracy theorists: these are the same nut-jobs that think 9/11 was the work of the president. Get a life people!

Watch the paranoid freaks get all over this one on sermonaudio!! What is the problem with ID cards? Only people with something to hide fear being "ID"ed. If you have a credit card, or driver's license, or Social Security# then "they" already know all about you. Relax......chill....

All this shows is how one couple spend a lot of their time - and where! It has NOTHING to do with godliness, like some folks seem to think or imply. Don't put all Christians in your little home-school, mega-size family pigeon holes. The Amish, for example, have massive families and yet know nothing about the real gospel. Some folks are making a religion out of reproducing kids! Rome used to say any woman with 12 children automatically gets into heaven! There's a lot of "Romish" types still here obviously.
