In most PSA's (Public Service Announcements) and Addiction Documentaries or news stories, the same remark is made by kids adn teens:

"It is EASIER to buy illegal drugs or prescription medication like Adderall or Oxycontin from friends/neighbors than it is to purchase cigarettes or alcohol at a convenience store."

What I notice is more common (this is relative to what I read and watch, of course) is that kids pick up these habits from their own parents. Sometimes it is the parent that GIVES the kids their first 'drink' or their first hit of say, METH or POT.

from article:

"Signs and symptoms of the disorder typically include feelings of sadness, lack of energy and social withdrawal. SAD sufferers frequently lose interest in their normal activities and often avoid interacting with friends and family."

- - -

Funny, I get these 'symptoms' the day the clock runs out on the SuperBowl. It lasts until the middle of August.
- - -

If you're gullible enough to believe that SAD exists (and the "S" can be replaced with 'summer,' 'spring,' or 'social anxiety,' or even 'sausage,' etc.) then you NEED to go see an EXPERT who can definitively tell you how you feel since apparently you do not know that Winters are usually cold and it arrives with a lot of white stuff called snow.

from article: "The biographer noted that examining Warren’s media appearances would suggest that he is considered the most valid spokesperson for the evangelical movement."

- - -

God does not reward "VALIDNESS." He rewards His elect with FAITHFULNESS. All else will be burnt up in judgment on the LAST DAY.

Again, for you ignorant, blind dispy's:

There is no 1000 year period. There is no 7 year trib. There is no pre-trib rapture. There is no single MAN called the Antichrist. There is no ethnic distinction between Jew and Gentile. There is no more physical temple nor any need for further sacrifice.

All MEN as an aggragate who opposes Christ through their thoughts, words, and deeds IS the Antichrist.

Jesus will return on the LAST DAY.

First question to ask:

Was the boy on any type of psychotropic drug? If so, which?

You know the media is "owned and operated" by corporate interests when things like pharmaceutical drug use is not mentioned, even if to just clear the air. It's so easy nowadays to claim, "he's evil."

Ironically, the (pseduo) church of Scientology through CCHR (but I am not positive of the connection so please don't quote me on this) made several "talkumentaries" regarding the dangers of anti-depressants and other so-called 'non-addictive' (ain't this a hoot) prescription drugs.

For information only, you could watch on google or on the CCHR website:

MAKING A KILLING

There are others but this one is a good place to start.

If you've seen A&E's Intervention (several people have posted episodes on YouTube), I would think that ADDICTION to drugs--legal or illegal--especially alcohol by a family member or members is today's main source of argument. Not TV.

Once drugs, especially Crystal Meth, gets a hold on a family member it is virtually IMPOSSIBLE to reason with the abuser and tell him/her to stop. For many it so changes the user's personality everyone else changes along with them because you become 'co-dependent' with the addict.

Of course money issues and 'boundary' issues along with authority can be a catalyst also but which issue causes what reaction depends on each family.

Does God have a future for Israel?

Depends on how you define Israel.

Killing non-Jews is not biblical. If you agree with this statement, why back Zionism?

Coming from you, how would even Mr. Haggard know what a "christian" is?

You and your fake bible and all.

"Bush had it right"?

If Bush had it right, why hasn't (and why isn't) the US DoHS rustled up Muslims here?

"If we do not stand and challenge these folks and stop dismissing God it will not be life as we know it."

Challenge them how? If you feel so strongly about this 'axis of evil,' then why don't you start a christian movement to remove muslims from schools, businesses, neighborhoods, etc., here in the US? To this day, I know of no such movement.

Why not get the truth about why the US went to Iraq in the first place. It wasn't about 911. So, what could the reason(s) be? Please tell us if you know the answer.

There is a whole series on Google Video:

THE MANY FACES OF BENNY HINN

There are 7 really good videos exposing him as a con man. Part 8 was removed I'm guessing a while ago.

Not only money, but also it maintains relevance for these so-called bible scholars.

Hey gentlemen (and women), God preserved HIS word. NOT YOU! We don't need you anymore. Never needed you, actually.

The Dollar Store sells the KJB! You may want to get a magnifying glass though.

That's okay, Hidemi. That "nutcase" Baptist KJVO preacher (my kind of fellow) will have more kindling next year.

Jim, of the three hundred or more English bibles that were NOT derived from the Textus Receptus, which one or which ONES is/ are NOT COMPROMISED?

If your answer is the NASB(V), please tell us how you came to this conclusion.

RC classification is not relevant to the news item subject, Jim. Forget the rules?
Maybe Goo Rugh wasn't around to help him do his thinking.

Keeping to the topic at hand, so-called educationists insist that teaching the 44 sounds (phonemes) of the English 26-letter alphabet is cruel and outdated.

I was trained in Remedial Reading when I worked in PS and what a waste of time that was. Putting words on flashcards and having kids "repeat after me" does NOT teach kids how to CIPHER on their own.

For anyone interested, there are several organizations who champion the phonics method and whose websites you can download for free the 44 phonemes to teach your child. If you work in PS, do NOT let anyone know you are using phonics. I learned that the hard way!

I have read Why Johnny Can't Read (1959?) and Why Johnny Still Can't Read (1974?) by Rudlof Flesch and I am convinced--the reason why many kids can't read from an early age is because of the absence of teaching PHONICs.

from article wrote:
She writes in her thesis that the new translation fits in with ancient texts.
But she, the Prof., does not consider that maybe, just maybe, all other world creation 'narratives' are corruptions of the True narrative given to Moses. Afterall, no one knows exactly what happened after the Tower of Babel.

"God was the subject (God created), followed by two or more objects. Why did God not create just one thing or animal, but always more?"

* Yea, hath God said? Nothing new.
- - -
Prof Van Wolde added: "The traditional view of God the Creator is untenable now."

* So, the authority of scripture is no more since her 'strong arguments (untenable)' prove the Bible wrong. All she is doing is making herself to be an authority.

Again, NOTHING NEW.
