Your constant appeal to authority and links are wearysome to me,

" I will congratulate people who work with Birthright and other Crisis Pregnancy Centers, who have a Christian love for the mother - -who can go into hell, even more than the infant who shouldn't be aborted but still will end up in heaven."

Connor translation, "I don't care if a place sugar coats murder, and who cares if the child dies, it's not my concern, I only care about the mother."

"Want to do something for mothers? Support clinics. Have Universal Health Care without abortion a course. Make sure they have the financial help to support themselves and their infants."

Connor translation, "If you don't support clinics and vote for universal health care you don't want to help mothers." Jim you might be interested in a study that was done, 100% of woman (who are for abortion) weren't aborted when they were a baby.

"A carnally minded person would envision the "wine" that Jesus made from water to be alcohol."

s c, if I hear you right, you're saying that anyone who disagrees with you is carnally minded?

Here's the way I look at it, I think that the Bible is against drinking alcohol, and I certainly wouldn't break fellowship over this issue, don't think we should, nor accuse any falsely, I know that I don't have the power to convert you to my position, and I accept the possibility that I could be wrong.

I know that ever since I was saved about 2 1/2 years ago, a lot of my theology has changed and been refined, I try to be a teachable and discerning person, and I think others should be as well.

Anne what you said was great, " You should most certainly not consume any alcohol if you feel you shouldn't; and far be it from me to suggest we must drink." I agree 110% if I did believe it true that Jesus turned water into wine (fermented) I would still be hesitant to drink it, because I think I would violate my conscience.

God bless.

" Does it have any lasting ability?" Jim I bet you don't have any lasting ability stark naked in the north pole, Jim this idea you bring that we shouldn't preserve life can only come from the father of lies, if you recall he was a murderer from the beginning, it is no wonder his children do the same.

" Many of you are on a fool's errand that isn't blessed!" Connor translation, "Trying to obey God by saving life is a fool's errand"

I know on a daily basis that I am a vile, wretched, sinner, with no hope of Heaven apart from Jesus, and see the world falling apart, I'm not trying to change the culture, rather try to be faithful to Jesus, and leave the results to God.

I think that the doctors who do abortions and the mothers that have abortions, should be charged with premeditated murder, have a fair trial, then executed...publicly to deter others from doing so.

*I think all murderers should be publicly executed.

What is this movement she is talking about? What leaders? What elders? How does she define activists? What is young according to her definition? Jim you've got to admit these are vague terms.

You're either for life or for death and she never gives an example of the type of language these "activist" use, these are very vague terms she's using.

I'm not interested in making a case for a "new culture of life" her thinking and yours is that we're trying to change the culture, I'm not, honestly I'm not trying to change the culture, I'm trying to make the name of Jesus known among the Gentiles, to make His name great among the Heathen.

And I'm not woman centered, I try to be God centered.

There you are, like butter in sunshine, Jim you are as well versed in the holy scriptures as a cow in a walnut tree, I'm curious why don't you advocate that the mother has the right to kill the child after the child is born, it's the same child.

That Christian activism article is intellectual garbage, you're involved in "Christan activism" when you say rape is wrong, murderers should be put to death, thieves should be imprisoned, that's a wee bit of the clover calling the grass green.

That is my, totally humble, unbiased, honest and correct opinion.

I've been silent, but Kev if after it's all said and done and we're in gloryland and I turn out to be wrong about this issue, then I'll find you and we'll have a good laugh about the matter with a glass of wine, sound good?

This was pointed out years ago, Isaac Newton said atheism was, "senseless and odious" multiple people in recent times has called evolutionism a religion, Kent Hovind, Henry Morris (who wrote the long war against God), and others.

I agree, mutations don't prove evolution, it is scrambled up already existing information, to get from a rock to a human would have to take a lot of mutations no doubt, Hovind got a professor to admit (during a debate) that he (the professor) believes she came from a rock.

Dawkins believes that it is a possibility that aliens designed life because things seem designed, and he is open to the idea of a multi universe, and believes life came from nothing, yet then describes what nothing is like.
If he can't see Faith in what he believes, I can't help him.

"John Yurich USA from USA writes: When I get married and have children when I tell them to be quiet they will instantly comply or they will be subject to punishment in the form of spanking or time out. I will not put up with any noise from the children. The children will not be permitted to speak unless they are spoken to."

You'll make a good dictator, but a horrible father.

I think a great deal of the disdain for spanking, is that parents do it incorrectly, dad or mom gets irrationally angry and then just unloads on a kid..or kids, without any desire for teaching their kids the right way, there's no reading scriptures, prayer or desire to glorify God in it.

I would blame part of it due to some erroneous teaching, trust me I've heard some seriously illogical and certainly unscriptural preaching on this issue. Spankings are to deter the kids from doing evil and lead them to glorify God.

Personally, I think that the adult always needs to pray (in a separate room) before they spank their child, then explain to the child what they did wrong and why they are getting punished (from scripture), then after the spanking pray with the child, asking God to teach the child the right way. There needs to be some serious reform concerning spanking.

That excerpt, Jim, is intellectual garbage, it is vague, not true, uses generalizations, the whole article is filled with false assumptions, not a lot of documentation if I recall, straw mans, and is a mess.

I don't know who Phil Johnson is, sounds like the old coach for the Lakers, so I'll reserve judgment on him, I will say that I'm not trying to fix America's moral problem, that's not my goal, as a disciple of Jesus, my desire is that God would be glorified, and that His Son's name would be known among the heathen, that His Spirit would convict the world of sin, righteousness and judgment.

In the material I pass out that could be labeled, "pro life material" it has the gospel, shouldn't all disciples of Jesus desire that His church be built?

"He should be even-handed in attacking evil!" Says who? And since you believe that Obama is evil, you should be concerned that he supported Hillary and despises President elect Donald Trump.

I'm not saying Trump is a saint, nor do I agree with him on everything. Now then, why don't you follow your own rules? You mentioned nothing about Hillary and her declarations concerning the unborn having no constitutional rights, her crimes, her lying, ect, so doesn't that make you in the wrong by your opinion and furthermore a hypocrite?

NeedHim, I do agree that the only thing that will change a hardened heart, or anyone's heart, is that only Christ saves & justifies alone amen.
Yet I would say that there is no such things as black, white, or minority lives, the Bible makes no such distinction as far as I can tell.

I am not saying you do, but we should not be grieved when a certain people group, nor skin colour, is murdered more than another, rather be grieved at all loss of life.
