No where in the New Testament is there a command for Christians to be submissive to the physical attacks of others. Turning the other cheek is not defined as allowing someone to butcher you or another person. This is the result of a nations people allowing the government to disarm its people, thus being unable to protect themselves. This is what the American government would like to do to its own people.....sadly
