ladybug wrote: Yes, and the spammers comments are better than that of yours, Jesuit troll. Your disgusting remark reeks of unmentionables. Your vileness will not go unnoticed. "People don't want to read bickering, backbiting as innuendo when coming here". You really should practice what you preach. tsk tsk You're quite the hypocrite aren't you? "In one of my last [letters] I was saying that I do not feel the wrath of God abiding on me; nor can I believe it does. And yet (this is the mystery), I do not love God. I never did. Therefore I never believed, in the Christian sense of the word. Therefore I am only an honest heathen" … John Wesley, from http://www.cprf.co.uk/articles/johnwesley.htm#.WVk_o4TyvGh Bug In your own wicked way, you helped me make a point about Wesley. Wesley didn't think Grace was Irresistible. Wesley thought Grace could be turned down. Just as someone could turn down the gift of a cake, Wesley thought even grace could be turned down. I don't agree, but I certainly wouldn't insult all the fine Saints from the Methodist Church because my Reformed Church has a different doctrine about how the Elect receive GraceI know enough about Wesley to know he received grace and is indeed Elect. You? well, lets not talk about that |

Mike wrote: From the news: "Potentially the most helpful suggestion of all was a proposal calling for a Day of Prayer and Fasting in September, at the beginning of the Methodist year. It referred to 'the challenges and changes facing every community in these islands and the urgent call of God on the Methodist people to share the love of God in Jesus Christ in word and action'. Indeed, so urgent in fact, that sometime in September, there may be a day of prayer and fasting. No sense hurrying these things in the busy summer season, what with dinners and concerts and stuff. Times a changin' in the UK....Wesley fasted two days a week, Wednesday and Friday. Anglicans fasted on Fridays |

The more "conspiratorial minded" use gaps to make their case look like a gnostic insider's secret knowledge. But a lot of gaps in true history are lazy UN- studious parroting of previous myth. Mason & New Atlantean & New Babylon stories use gaps to weave a tale. Those were Presidents of the Continental Congress, the position had less authority than many positions in the pre Constitution government. They were more paper pushers and moderators than head Executives |

Chase wrote: Wow some harsh words for VBS... something that I notice with every negative comment about this program however is this; the presupposition that 1. the VBS teachers and leaders within each individual congregation are not giving children the true gospel and therefore it is more less a free childcare, and 2. all the children involved in VBS come from an unchurched family. My response would be this, would we concede that some of the teachers could knowledgeable in the Scriptures and truly be giving these children the true gospel of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ? And, aren't those children the come from a Bible believing "churched" home allowed to have fun and learn more about Christ as well? I don't deny that it can be more bad than good for kids, perhaps even most of the time, but is that due to the program as a whole or each individual congregation and the importance they place on the holy infallible inerrant word of God??? Idk 😊 Chase I share your sentiments, and will add one important thing. Too many churches have more qualified people to teach children. However too often the more qualified feel too important to teach VBS |

Frank wrote: Have you ever pondered why "only you" accept his testimony? Don't you think it odd that all of the rest of the posters on this forum reject him? Do you have such discernment, that only you can be right? Are you really willing to say that "all" the rest of the posters are wicked? I'm sure he is impressed about the attention he gets. That is how a troll thinks! And in his case, a very childish one. I'll be interested in seeing your answers to these simple questions. Matthew 22:14 For many are called, but few are chosen. |
