Maybe you can go and get circumsised?

John Yurich USA wrote:
What I meant was that Circumcision Day is not celebrated by or recognized as a holy day by any church, not even the Catholic Church and the Lutheran Church.

We are the church and we need to recognize.

May want to check this out:

Thanks a lot for the feedback below. Other than praying for their salvation, praying for secular leaders has always seemed odd to me, because even though they are appointed by God, they're not usually led by Him by their own choice. Bcause of this, I always wonder about the asking God to guide them parts. Anyway, thanks for the helpful tips.

How can you say such a thing?

"And when eight days were accomplished for the circumcising of the child, his name was called JESUS, which was so named of the angel before he was conceived in the womb."

No circumcision means no Saviour.

We have to celebrate Circumcision Day, not pagan "New Years Day."

John Yurich USA wrote:
I am not doing anything for Circumcision Day as that day does not exist.

For those that supposedly desire to have a man-made birthday celebration for Jesus while supposedly not desiring to engage in the so-called pagan parts of the December 25th celebration, why don't you all come together and decide on some other day for your birthday party, since you all know he wasn't born on December 25th anyway?
But I am going to make what I believe to be a righteous judgment as to why this has not happened and will not happen - and that is because the ones who are making the big hoopla over the celebration DO actually want to partake with the pagans every year in this unholy celebration where an unholy spirit fills the professed believers and unbelievers with joy and happiness, whether they want to admit it or not.

What are you going to do for Circumcision Day Johnny?

John Yurich USA wrote:
Nobody in their right mind cares that Jesus was not born on 25 December as long as His birth is celebrated. The Holy Spirit does not consider it unscriptural to celebrate the birth of Jesus on 25 December or He would not have guided Luther to retain it in the Lutheran Church.

And don't forget Conception Day and Circumcision Day coming up, which the pagans call "New Year's Day," following their antichirst Roman calendar.

Advent Day and GSTexas,
Thank you both for a Christian interaction on this topic. Its good to know that Christians consider the importance of the Birth and Reign of our King, and the importance of that one ROYAL DECREE that reconciles us to HIM.
It was HIS decree, not that of the wicked that demanded death

I stumbled upon this today and I'm wondering what some of you think.

]]What the Bible really Says About Alcohol

"Throughout Christian history, alcohol was rarely a taboo as it is in some circles today. John Calvin had a stipend of 250 gallons of wine per year written into his church contract. Martin Luther’s wife was a famed brewer of beer, which certainly won Martin’s heart. And the Guinness family created their renowned Irish Stout as an act of worship to Jesus. From Bordeaux to Berlin, wine and beer have always been part of church tradition. But what was once considered the nectar of heaven was later condemned as the devil’s libation."

If professed believers can have their children injected with brain/body altering potions of filth, poison, and aborted baby fragments, then I wonder what is so wrong about smokin' a little bud every now and then?

Exactly. Christians need to celebrate Conception Day too. What are you folks gonna do on Conception Day? And since Circumsision Day is approaching, what are you folks gonna do for it?

Saint Curious wrote:
Elmer, you sure are a thinker. What about Conception Day? We need to celebrate the conception of Jesus, because there can be no birth without the conception.

I suppose we should also celebrate Young Ass Day as well.

It is written: And Jesus, when he had found a young ass, sat thereon; as it is written, Fear not, daughter of Sion: behold, thy King cometh, sitting on an ass's colt.

And Baptism Day too during spring break. Ain't nothing wrong with celebrating Christ's baptism while the college students are partying.
