Hi Michael - that’s a pretty long documentary. Is it basically the abolitionist movement? I ask because I ran into them back in the day and ended up stepping away from the group because their focus was not on the Gospel.
The. Christian Post reported also and didn’t use the word riot. He seems to be an activist regarding abortion. I used to go with some Christians to protest at an abortion clinic and had firecrackers thrown at me. They murder the unborn and it is no surprise that they are violent toward those who oppose.
The stats are skewed. Roman Catholicism is included. The numbers drop with evangelicals which may be getting closer to true.Christians.Mainline Protestants May include very liberal people who already reject the Bible. Further, how many are in churches that practice biblical church discipline? This is a poll of the wheat and the tares.
By what can found about this church, it is a Reformed church and is not the first time they have been targeted, harassed, and fined. The Chinese government does not believe any religion is allowed unless it is in support of the government. These brave Christians refuse to obey the government when they are told they cannot meet, preach the Bible, pray, et. The Three Self Church is government owned and controlled. Groups like these are more public but do not submit to the government. Other groups are underground so they may worship Jesus without interference, but at great risk.
I prayed with such a group when in China many years ago. Pray for our Chinese brethren that they may stand strong in the faith, even unto death, and that the Lord will rule in heaven in their favor.

“ Very Encouraging! ” Exciting to learn of God's work in the nation of Hungary! What a revealing contrast as the apostate nations of Western Europe are considered. Oh that every nation would turn to the Lord God!! God is faithful to work in every age! Let His people not forget His works!
