Having been married for over 50 years, our mutual commitment to live in accordance with GOD‚ÄôS directive for marriage has enabled us to experience a joyous unity‚ÄĒsomething rare in this dark and broken world. My deepest regrets are when I‚Äôve failed the LORD and my husband by not being a respectful and submissive helper. My greatest joys have been the direct result of living in accordance with GOD‚ÄôS plan for me as a wife. These are disciplines for marriage relationships only, or children under the care of parents. Untaught ‚Äėreligious‚Äô men have taken these directives and sorely abused them and demand that all women submit to them or face a barrage of vitriol, and immature name calling which is quite evident by some of the posts on this forum.

Becoming like the world, following the ideas and foolishness of fallen men is seen as wise and loving. It's ironic some Christians believe it is godly to do so, and ungodly not to. Because "this world is not my home," don't you know. Using this as a mental gymnastic, we can pretend we aren't living as the world lives, even while we fight to live as the world lives. Sad. Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

We dare not attack them personally, rather, expose their errors in hopes that God will grant them repentance to the knowledge of the truth. When accusations fly concerning the person, and not the person's false beliefs, things spiral downward. The way to battle error is with the truth, His Truth. God will determine the outcome, either bringing the one in error to a right understanding, or leaving them in delusion.
Colin, you bore false witness against me. I posted one comment on this thread, and spoke ‚Äúdown‚ÄĚ to no one. This is a news forum not a gathered worship and teaching service of the church so we can ALL give our views and opinions on the various subjects. Btw I never referred to C.H. Spurgeon as a heretic, another false accusation. You need to do some reflection and mind your table manners, sir.
Acts 20:21. ‚ÄúTestifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ‚ÄĚ. Clear what repentance in the Scripture is. What is promoted by most religious people is RC penance. Synergistic man made methodology, not the free and sovereign grace gospel.
