Lyingdownonthejob

It would have been nice to leave more room for a specific reply to your post. However, I saw the video "Moslem Terror Book" Jay Smith.
How many people will take the time to use these power excerpts as a witnessing tool for both Christians who have bought into the lie that Islam is a peaceful religion, and Moslems who are either ignorant of what the Koran requires or just downright liars.

I believe that most are liars.

As long as the sodomite (LGBT) program to destroy all that is good is supported and their motives are not carefully exposed, Islam will thrive.

If they only knew the truth behind their destruction ... But they won't listen. Their guilt has deafened them. I am speaking of the sodomites.

AWAY with these euphemisms. "ABORTION" is murder. Proclaim it just as God did.
Even the word "apologize." Where is it in scripture? The word is forgive.
The word sodomy is more effective than "gay."
Sin is more effective than "mistake."

The Word of God is quick and powerful ...! Not man's watered down version of how to deal with fallen man.

Hi Christopher! I've noticed about myself that when shocking news first hits the headlines I cringe with horror at seeing more evil and wickedness gaining acceptance in society. But over time it looses its shock value. Abortion for example is just as much a murder today as it was in 1973, Yet I have to admit I'm not horrified when I read about it every time anymore. I guess shame on me, because God is deeply saddened and angered at the death of each little innocent child which dies at the hands of callous greedy men and women. May God grant us all a fervent love for truth and righteousness.

Question. Is there really a difference between the tactics used by American Islamists and "gays," in their accusations against Christians?

Is it because of sodomites that non-thinking Americans have succumbed to their emotional appeals in trying to overturn the one true God's moral laws and religious principals? Or, is this simply just something that all wicked people do?

Praise God for this revelation if it is a realization of what is really in the Koran. Their religion is unforgiving, unloving, and offers nothing eternally comforting to look forward to. Then, when it comes to rewarding women in the afterlife, there are no virgins for them. I don't mean to sound vulgar.
My friend, who escaped Iran, says they learn to retaliate 10 xs more than injury inflicted upon themselves. No forgiveness. Also, most woman live in conflict which is caused by not knowing what the husband requires at any particular moment.

The reasons we are told well ahead of time that gas prices will soar, or that other similar events will happen, is to desensitize us. We look forward for that PROPHECY to take place.

So when the headlines of the featured article is firmly planted in our minds, without God being in it at all or it being based on the Word of God, what do you think will occur?

And the tongue [is] a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell. (Jas 3:6 KJV)

So SHUT UP!

Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day [is] the evil thereof. (Mat 6:34)

The name Adam was in the bible also. So how does this fulfill prophecy.

What about Grant?

"The initiative helps teachers keep the focus on family structures and on being positive about differences."

Really? "... positive about differences." Sodom was positively burned down.

We must become definitive about what is acceptable to God; the holy vs the profane and what is sin and righteousness.

What makes these people think they have a right to pass out literature to other people's kids without their permission? What arrogance and disgust of their parents? That is what many say when someone wants to pass out bible. Why doesn't it apply to them? They hate God so much that they don't want anyone, especially impressionable young children access to it. The school district who work for the parents are allowing this. Worse still majority of parents will do nothing about it.
"Worse still majority of parents will do nothing about it."

Do you really believe parents are in tune with what is happening to their children while at school? I believe that the majority haven't a clue. This is why we must engage them in meaningful ways. Let's find out what makes them believe as they do? Because for sure their minds are being shaped along with their children to put their trust in man; believing that just because one is in a position of authority, they are authoritatively correct.

Will pray also for the work of FAME.

I asked "What is an Evangelical?" Now I am asking What is a scholar?

Can one be a scholar and ignore blatant facts? For instance, although this is not the topic, S. Hawkins is deemed a scholar. Why? He denies universal evidence. Why give him place any longer seeing how he continues to reject the evidence?
I would think a scholar has a genuine desire to teach truth? Scholars love that others learn truth.
Theo Hikmat of Underground Christian Network, and D. A. Waite of Bible for Today present creditable evidence against what some bible "scholars" are embracing as fact because it sounds good. It somehow sets them above others who are unlearned.

"Some text critics reject … most scholars will not abandon the Westcott/Hort text-type, & are on a course of disillusionment, as seen by …. early followers .… became so disgusted that they publicly denounced it ... spoke of widespread text falsification for dogmatic purposes … eventual- ly led them to discredit all texts, a likely end for … lacking faith in God."

Mike,
Abortion is a conspiracy to murder by two parties. In some cases, the woman is responsible, and in others, the woman is not because her parents or abusers are forcing her against her will. There is no single fix. Women do have some responsibility in it, but let's be honest, who is actually using the scalpel to rip the baby apart? I am not saying women don't ever hold any responsibility in the abortion (I believe they do in many cases).
The issue here is not whether or not "ABORTION" is legal or illegal. It is what God thinks of the taking life. All life comes from God. Neither is the issue who should be punished; but why there should be punished. Vengeance is mine says the Lord and is expressed in the Torah, the Law of the Lord, of how God wants us to deal with MURDER.

Thanks for supplying an answer to my question. I feel like a tennis ball at times with flippant answers to issues on this board. We need to awaken to the devil's schemes to divide due to

"Unscholarly & uncivil internet criticism of the KJV-Only position."

There's much to read, however I printed this essay out in order to evaluate the answer.

Nice site.

CORRECTION to an earlier comment.

Pastor John wrote: "Maybe evangelicals can't stomach it?"

I added 'All that is is the world is of the wicked one. ALL - the lust of the eyes, the flesh, and the pride of life; what we see, want, and boast in is of the world.'

I meant to say All that is in the world is of the wicked one. ALL - the lust of the eyes, lust of the flesh, and the pride of life; all that we want to have (crave for), all that we want to do (with no restraint), and all that we want to be (prominence), is of the world.

Have you thought it might be the epitome of pride for a man to think he can run a country?

2. "He is showing no partiality" If you are referring to Obama, don't forget the time he talked about "Rewarding our friends and Punishing our enemies". Not to mention how many times he's helped "convict" people in their trial by media
3. If you think someone who has suggested making it legal to murder infants is a Christian- I don't know what to say.
"Race." I agree with you.
Unfortunately, I had to use "white" as a frame of reference in order to identify those considered the "religious right" and who are like-minded with DC lawmakers - preventing Obama from fulfilling his campaign promises, and not giving this man credit for any progress. Those who even say they have solutions; however, will not offer them to those who can implement them, because of who Obama is.
My comment about Cruz - I just wanted to point out Cruz's failure to make a difference by refraining from accusing the "brethren," which he has done, in the past, more than the other candidates.

Pray for the brethren.

Those of us who are not evangelical can't stand it because it is of this world.

All that is is the world is of the wicked one. ALL - the lust of the eyes, the flesh, and the pride of life; what we see, want, and boast in is of the world.

This whole political thing is filled with information about what others deem as good or evil. This forbidden tree has rotten tea leaves that fall into the hands of those who read these leaves instead of God's word; fig leaves that really prevent fallen man from seeing us as we really are. But nothing is hidden from the eyes of Whom we have to do. Voters dig their own cisterns, if you will. But they are filled with judgment.
The political system is filled with bad, evil fruit. Bad, bad, bad...

But hear ye this - ... the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law (Gal 5:22,23).
The fruit of the Spirit [is] in all goodness and righteousness and truth; (Eph 5:9).

Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is everything man needs.

P.S. Cruz does serve the Lord first and foremost in his life, beginning every day on his knees, and informing his decissions with Scripture. This is why he stands for what he does, and why he strives to serve his fellow man.
Bible Says,

Pray for those in authorities/leaders. But Cruz continues to vilify our current president; taking sides with Southern white Baptist and those who hate President Obama who has stated that he is Christian. He is showing no partiality in dealing with the citizens of this country, regardless of what people think regardless as to whether it is scriptural or not. We cannot make people believe in the Gospel of Christ!
He should approach our president in the spirit of meekness and love; according to the scripture - as a professing Christian.
So what is informing his "decissions?" What? He knows what his Christians "brother" faces everyday, whether in or out of the Oval office.

Where we are going | Roadsign

I have heard the same; that the doxology of the Disciples/Model prayer in questionable as to its origin and placement. However, when taking a careful look at its parts - "kingdom, power, and glory," it seems fitting and appropriate for dissecting what precedes it. It is very effective in opening our understanding of how and what to pray about, and Who can bring our request to fruition, because it is His will. It gives us a strong premise upon which to approach our heavenly Father. We're dealing with kingdom issues.
Read 1 Chronicles 29:11 - 13 first gives it perspective. It quickens my spirit beyond measure to realize the God, our heavenly Father, whom I am seeking, is Ruler/Sovereign over all. The doxology reminds us that we are in agreement with the Son’s will; to please the Father.
It being where it is is minor in light of the benefits one derives from it.
I am not good at explaining or writing what I'd like to have people to know. But I pray that you get the point.

McCausland,

You have once again shown yourself approved of God by rightly dividing issues. And the gentle, meek way it is done is good for the unlearned.
