Seems like people believe their Faith over the Bible. That phrase "My Faith" needs to be examined. As long as someone believes anything, they can be said to "Have Faith". If these people are really christians why don't they say "The Bible Says" rather that "My Faith won't let me. If I believed homosexuality was righ, my Faith would not let me agree with Uganda either.
I'm glad for this young man's commitment. I'm also glad to see that up to four people who have responded so far have been able to stay on topic. For those who find something negative to say about this, (as one of you does on all posts)Stop posting your name and location for a year, then go back and read those posts. I bet you'll find fault with all of them.{By the way, your specific objection is already anticipated}
Mike wrote: Says who? Obviously. You said, and continue to demonstrate the proof of my statement. June: I should have known there would be a Calvinist twist in there somewhere. Now I know why kings like the idea of divine right of kings. Funny how seldom it occurred to those kings how the doctrine of human depravity applied to them.
What was the original question? It was hard to find. because; John said that June said, that Some Realism said that Alan said, that Michael said that, Saved by grace said, that Sherlock said that, Mike said that, Ernie said that, Wrighter said that Flute said that- O never mind. If you want to find a comment that actually adresses the original article, go to the very first post. But if you want to get a kick out of how easily everyone gets off track into arguments with each other, then read all the other posts.
I used to listen to MacArthur. Till I found out that the station he was on was owned by a man that was a neighbor of a man who's second cousin shopped at the store where a loose woman shopped, that had a mother, that met a man, that did not use the Right translation of the Bible. I'll have no more to do with a liberal preacher like that.
