1 John 4:1
Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

1) Article: Billy Graham: Servant of Rome, Not Servant of Christ
By: Pastor Shaun Willcock, Gospel Minister / Bible Based Ministries – South Africa

His Brazen Promotion of Roman Catholicism

Always hovering approvingly in the background: a priest of Rome and Billy Graham

On 29 December 1955, he said that he would always tell his “converts” (those who “came forward” at his “altar calls”) to go to the church of their choice, whether Roman Catholic or Protestant! He repeated this on 17 September 1956, in front of 1100 people, and again in 1960.[6] And he kept his word on this matter, decade after decade. Here is just one example:

At Graham’s “Mission ̓89″ in England, he was publicly welcomed by Rome’s cardinal, Basil Hume, and had private meetings with him and other Romish bishops.[7] And of the 35000 people who “went forward” when he gave his “altar call”, 2100 were Roman Catholics – and these were referred by Graham to parish priests for “counselling”![8]

Might want to check your math Tim.There are at least a half dozen or so Pastors with large congregations here on SA , that called out the BGEA for its devious practices.
Bearing false witness is also a grievous sin.

Preachers who can’t get 20 people to come to their church write books and articles criticizing the methods of a man who preached the gospel of salvation by grace through faith in Christ Jesus to myriads at a time. They condemn a man who routinely saw more souls saved under his ministry in a week than they, the ones sitting in judgment on him, are likely to see in a lifetime. What is their motive? It couldn’t possibly be envy could it? As I said, envy is a very ugly sin.
Be patient, Dr. Tim. Easter is coming.

Re: MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS & ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH – Rev. 17:5

“The historic interpretation has been embodied in the most solemn confessions of the
biblical world. It forms a leading part in the testimony of martyrs and reformers. Like the
prophets of old, these holy men bore a twofold testimony, a testimony for the truth of God, and a
testimony against the Apostasy of those professing to be Christian. Their testimony was that
Papal Rome is the Babylon of prophecy, “…that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the
earth,” (Revelation 17:18) and that its head, the Roman pontiff, is the predicted “Man of Sin,” or Antichrist.”

Author: Former Roman Catholic priest & Biblical Apologist . . the late Richard Bennett

Revelation 18:4-5
And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.

You can be so amusing at times, Jim. You post someone's imaginative account of pro-life States having a higher infant mortality rate, and miss the greater point not written. What it means is infant mortality by abortion isn't counted. If it were, it would be MUCH higher in pro-death States. But let's continue to pretend it's somehow compassionate to kill the preborn. Let's pretend concern over church-affiliated child care centers not being sufficiently safety inspected, and forget about the killing of the child outright, authorized by those who hire the inspectors. You aren't fooling anyone, but like I said, you can be amusing.

Hey, just because a baby has a heartbeat doesn't mean it's a human. If a judge says so, it must be true, right? What's wrong with those tissues anyway? Don't tissues know they shouldn't have a heartbeat?

Bro Jhn UK; So the Evangelist, or a preacher, or even a mom or dad, who is sharing their faith in a 1 to 1 setting. Or someone behind the pulpit preaching & teaching, Should have a greater desire of seeing one through the power of the Spirit plowing up & turning over hardened soil. In the Spirit leading one to Christ. In seeing one come to a possession of saving Faith, that only God can give through the power of the Gospel; Jhn 1:12-13.

Many will have a profession of faith, Mat 7:21-23, but in reality they didn’t have a possession of saving Faith!

One important aspect of why misusing Rev 3:20 out of context does spiritual harm, in teaching notions, scriptures don’t teach one.

Seeing people come to Possession of Saving Faith is what matters, as their is a huge contrast between the 2. Titus 1:16; Profession of Faith!

Eph 1:13-14; Saving Faith of Possession!, bearing Godly fruit in it; Gal 5:22-24.

Mike in what I had shared from Jhn MacArthur break down in how many well intentioned people, like to use, Rev 3:20, out of context in outreach purposes.

So their is opposition, as people want to think, that they can do certain things, that Scriptures say other wise too. As mankind can make many freely daily choices, of what to eat, or drink, or what type of car to buy. Since they have Liberty in their choices, mankind also, has responsibilities, through accountability to ones only creator!

But people don’t like to hear truth derived from scriptures, that mankind left to their own fallen nature, liken to the Leopard willn’t change its own spots. As one willn’t seek Christ out left to their own fallen nature in being a natural man of the Loins of the 1 ST Adam.

But unless the Lord is the one who is doing the True Seeking First! Since He will never see down the corridor of time, in foreknowledge of seeing people seeking Him. Outside of Him first being the True seeker.

That is humbling & utterly amazing in a great mystery of wonder, Why Me Lord amen.

“Because many Evangelicals have a poor grasp of the Gospel, biblical doctrine, and church history, they leave themselves vulnerable to Roman Catholicism . . “ - Quote: Richard Bennett

Former Roman Catholic priest & Biblical Apologist . . the late Richard Bennett sounds the alarm in Zion exposing the dangers of the “false ecumenism” of the pope's church . . the Romish Harlot:

Ecumenism
The ecumenical movement is the brain child of the Roman Catholic Church. This moment gained momentum during the Second Vatican Council held in Rome from 1962 to 1965. The primary purpose of the ecumenical movement is to draw individuals, groups and churches back into the Roman Catholic religious system.

The eventual goal is to enslave all people under the Roman pontiff as head of the “Universal Church”.

The movement employs various techniques that range from joint declarations of faith to stadium events filled with people from various denominations. All are encouraged to be united through emotional experiences instead of Biblical truth.

...there are many other great causes for the “pro-life” people to get behind – genuinely life-positive ones. And seeing how much this lobby professes to care for the rights of babies, let’s start there. They could:

Improve maternal healthcare In a totally not shocking turn of events, it seems that the most “pro-life” US states have some of the worst rates of maternal and infant mortality in the country. Maternal mortality across the US, especially among black women, is higher than in any other wealthy country, and Alabama has the fourth highest infant mortality rate in the country. It is also one of the very few states that allows church-affiliated childcare centres to be exempt from safety inspections, which has led to injuries and even deaths. And what have local politicians done about this? Diddly squat. Instead, as one local paper put it last year, they concentrate on “fringe issues and oddball causes that don’t improve Alabamians’ lives and health”. Doesn’t sound very pro-life, does it?...
