Interesting point Conner7. What is the difference between a head transplant and a liver transplant?
The difference is what it does to the person. A liver transplant simply brings a disfunctioning function back to par. A head transplant changes the humnan completely. You really become a different person.
The main point I see is:

What happens to the soul after the head is severed? What happens to the body if it is reanimated with a new head? Can anyone say, "zombie"?

I liked your comments, BM. Besides that, no matter what we say, or what we don't, the elect will be drawn by Him, whether we get it all right, or leave something out, etc. We can't foul up what's already been ordained, but not to say we shouldn't do our best, of course, through study and prayer to always be prepared.
I'm thinking what Watcher may have been getting at is that we don't want to hit anyone all at once, on an initial witness/initial contact, with fire and brimstone; easing into things gently(?)
When the Holy Spirit saves someone, especially in this day and age, they will know full well the price for being a Christian very quickly. There's no need to add anything to the Gospel message. It can take care of itself.

That was my point exactly. The lesser evil? The bigger con-man, more like it.

Kev, I never bring anything of myself to God. So yes, I quite agree with that statement. Did you agree with my statement?
However, don't you think it unfair not to tell prospects of what the Christian life entails? That God redeems (purchases) the sinner by the blood of the Lamb, and they are no longer their own, but are servants/slaves of God? That the Christian life is opposite to the sinful life they have known up till now?
I personally don't think it's important to tell a lost sinner anything about their lifestyle and what to expect. In doing so, it will potentially color their decision. Just as much as the seeker-friendly gospel promises a convert 'Your Best Life Now', the opposite can be just as appealing to some people who get a kick out of pain and suffering.

We are told to preach the Gospel. We are shown the example by Jesus, Paul, Peter and Stephen that we are to use the law to point the lost to the cross. Not to lay out a list of potential problems with becoming a Christian. This only leads to a decision based on intellect and emotion.

I think there's been a misunderstanding on everyone's part here today. I have read everyone's comments and it seems everyone is jumping to the conclusion that the other is wrong without actually reading the other's comments properly.

Maybe I'm wrong, but can anyone argue against Lordship salvation? Paul Washer said something once to the fact, "I won't even bother asking you to make Jesus Lord of your life. He is Lord of your life whether you know it or not..." Jesus is Lord of heaven and hell. Earth and every square inch of the universe. No man can MAKE Jesus Lord. He is Lord and when it's time for someone to be saved (according to God's predetermined will), that soul will be given the power to declare emphatically, 'JESUS IS LORD!', and no one can convince that convert otherwise.

There really should be no such thing as Lordship salvation, because salvation in and of itself cannot be salvation outside the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

Watcher, it would be impossible and more than likely not profitable to cover how things were properly and improperly discussed in this thread. Plus my thoughts would be like anyone else's, very subjective. Even what you just posted seems like an improvement over the way several posts are worded by various people. Sometimes we will not see eye to eye, a simple, as you stated, praying for you in this matter is an excellent response. Just my thoughts.
If I went back and looked over my previous comments, I would find that more often than not, I have said, "I say this because I care/love/am worried for you". Or I will be praying for you...etc. Your comment here is exactly my point: Our comments are subjective, and we (at least I) attempt to be scriptural in my responses. Do I hit the mark all the time? No. Neither do you or anyone else on here. To be chastised for being unloving is wrong and cruel. How many of y'all have lost sleep over those here who are in error? I have. Not to brag, but to let each of you know my heart. I am a bull in a china shop. That's the way I am made. I am a big, strong Hos (from Bonanza) kinda guy who loves and cares more than any of you care to know. Does all of this matter? Probably not.

May God bless you and your family Amishchristian!
It can be frustrating, to say the least. We are all guilty of losing our cool from time to time, but thank God His grace is always sufficient. I have enjoyed Amishchristian's comments. Always refreshing. Have always loved the Amish way of life too.

I really don't get into eschatology. I don't know much about it. I know that Watcher first thought it was a plot for a new Godzilla movie, but thankfully I knew enough to tell him that it was about the end times.
Isn't the eschatology monster that weird turtle thing that comes out of the volcano and tries to destroy Tokyo? Then Godzilla wakes up all grumpy because his 1000 year hibernation was disturbed and destroys Eschatology with his morning breath? I think Dr. Tim would know more about this than me though as he deals in this sort of thing on a daily basis.

Take a gander at what John Y said about himself, he said, " I am promoting false doctrines and a false hope." You finally got it John! Woo-Hoo! Chip chip Cherio! Hurrah! One of your false doctrines was that weird Satanic Fruitcakes doctrine. Yikes! Scares me every time (actually I laugh when even thinking about it)
But John, I would not be surprised if you were an atheist; your attitude, teachings, understanding of doctrine, logic, theology, etc. are really shallow and you seem to be "willingly ignorant."
@H. Von Bun Du bist ein Dutchlander?
@Dr. Tim Yo tango tres zappots en mi ensaladas.
Actually, if you think about it, there are no such things as atheists. An atheist is nothing more than a rebellious rogue who hates God and strives against Him on a daily basis. I think it's these rebels who introduced satanic fruitcakes to the world. I mean, what can be more nefarious than a fruitcake? Those things are indestructible and indigestible. Ugh!

The main crux of this problem is how these women were violated which, as I said before is wrong. This is probably on my list of angering things such as abortion, racism and others. I hate this sort of crime. BUT...as I said, modesty is a vital issue for women and girls today. How a woman conducts herself says volumes about her heart. The scriptures are quite clear, and we should never deviate from them no matter how uncomfortable they make us.

Watcher, if you think your condescending, condemning, slanderous posts are godly and glorifying to God, you are sadly mistaken. In case you didn’t realize it is was your sin, and mine, that cried out to God for the awful death of His Son. The fact that you won’t change the demeanor of your posts despite Scriptural admonition from Galatians 6 and I Corinthians 13 makes me wonder if you would be willing to adhere to Ephesians 4:29. Don’t say what about so and so as you are responsible for you.
I'm open to correction, show me how to do it then. Here's my response:

You are in error according to scripture. I have shown you numerous times through scripture that you are wrong. Why is it that you cannot see this? I will pray that God opens your eyes to this and makes you sensitive to the truth before it's too late.

Now it's your turn. Show me how to say this "lovingly".

Yes, Watcher, Hillary would have been worse than Trump in one aspect, she wouldn't have been in bed with Putin and would not be giving any warning to the Russians that they may have gotten bombed in Syria-- this could have led to a serious military confrontation.
In line with what you mentioned, ]]http://tinyurl.com/yb5c8pes (Trump administration breaks record for highest turnover rate)
... and this article was written late last year❗ He's too used to being in one man show, and not used to running an organization.
Being in bed with Putin? Eewwww! Yes, Trump is an island unto himself, but he must realize, just in a church, there's a body involved. Many pastors think that they can run the show by themselves, and it seems Trump is following the same path. I would imagine he's broken the record for the most usage of profanity as well. Sure, he speaks the truth a lot, but someone should teach him how to be a gentleman.

We all know that Trump is a hot head. He publicly cusses, screams at people and has a really bad temper. Imagine what he's like behind the scenes? Imagine, if you will, if you were in a group of men, hiding in a bunker somewhere, and the captain wanted to give someone the keys to the dynamite locker. He looks around and then gives the keys to the guy beside you who has a bad temper and believes everyone should die and let God sort them out. He holds the keys in his hands and smiles devilishly over his new sense of power. Donald Trump is president! That in itself should speak volumes. Is he better than Clinton? Yes, but we're not comparing apples and oranges right now. We're talking about Trump and his temper and his propensity to make hasty decisions. Mark my words, his temper will be his downfall.

It's a shame to see so many on this forum who supposedly represent Christianity to be so blind and willingly ignorant. I think it's time we as the mature ones in Christ stop stirring the pot and let the Angelas and Lurkers go about their business and false sense of security. I have wasted much time trying to get them to see the truth of God's word and they have not given one shred of scripture to back up their claims. Sad... If you can't take the heat, then stay out of the kitchen. If you can't take honesty, then (how can I say this lovingly)mind your own business. If a Christian has to be politically correct in his walk in order to keep offenses down then the church is in serious trouble. Guess what? I would rather offend everyone on this forum and receive God's approval, than offend a holy God because I didn't have the guts to speak the truth. If any one has a problem with me, then email me at my email and we can discuss it at length.
