Here is another excellent article from Quora.Question: Why are American gun owners (usually aged 25 and upwards) so against raising the legal age of purchasing a gun to 21 rather than 18? Will this not help reduce school shootings as there are no 21-year-olds in high schools? Answer: Maybe it’s because of the complete and utter hypocrisy of the modern left. Here we have a proposal to raise the gun purchase age from 18 to 21, apparently because 18–20 year olds are insufficiently mature enough to own firearms. Yet… we are supposed to listen to some in the Democrat party when they propose to lower the voting age to 16 years. So, does that mean most people are more mature when they’re 16–17 than they are between 18–20? How does that work? Currently, a person who is 18 years of age may… Get drafted into the military (when a draft is active) Marry another person (without parental consent) Vote in elections Open a bank account Obtain a credit card (if financially qualified) Sign contracts to buy a car, house, boat, etc Open and engage in a business Enlist in the military, get trained on, use and be responsible for weaponry that would make a liberal’s head implode. Purchase cigarettes (not recommended, but legally allowed) |

John Yurich USA wrote: This past Tuesday morning I walked over to my Baptist Church for the Tuesday morning prayer meeting that was led by the church secretary. During the prayer that she offered she asked God to open the hearts of those Muslims gathering in Minneapolis to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior. So were you guys going to go over there and evangelize to them? |

@Just A Guy, Yeah, I agree. I'm not much for arguing, nor am I good at writing, so why not borrow someone else's brains?I really enjoy reading Quora.com, as the answers people give are pretty fenominal. I pretty much suck at writing good, detailed rebuttals, so you'll be seeing a lot more articles from that website in the near future, especially concerning gun control, feminism, "white privilege", racism, SJW's and more. And of course I'll be using that good old trusty sword, the KJV. *Note: Since Jim L. links to everything and never uses his own brain, why not do the same? It's time we stop blowing up at his ludicrous posting's, and answer with intelligent answers, concerning politics, world affairs & issues. |

[2/2] Continued...“White privilege” doesn’t exist. Racial discrimination does. Proclaiming the people who aren’t being discriminated against are privileged doesn’t do anything to change the reality that discrimination is happening to others. It’s literally just whining. It accomplishes nothing. Seriously, think about it. Let’s use a common trope; Me and a buddy who is black both walk into a store. I’m basically a ghost, invisible until I get to the cash register, while store personnel watch his every move. This kind of s*** happens, right? Ok. So tell me, what does pointing at me shouting “Privilege! Privilege!” accomplish? Anything? Does it help him not be discriminated against? Does it help the store personnel recognize and correct their biases? It doesn’t do jack. It’s just whining. The fact that I’m being treated with respect while another person isn’t doesn’t mean I’m “privileged”, it means the store personnel have racial biases. Maybe those biases are deliberate, or maybe they’re innate and they don’t even realize they’re doing it. But they are. Ignoring that fact by simply declaring those they aren’t doing it to “privileged” isn’t going to help them overcome those biases. |

I know this isn't related to this article, but I thought I might share a excellent post written on Quora.com, by Ron Rule. The question is: Why do some white people have trouble understanding white privilege? His answer. "White privilege isn’t a thing. Being given the benefit of the doubt or being treated with respect aren’t “an advantage of race”, it’s simply the absence of racial bias. The absence of something isn’t “privilege”. That’s like saying that because some people need wheel chairs, the people who can walk are privileged. No, they aren’t privileged - that’s how it’s supposed to be. Some people unfortunately happen to be at a disadvantage. But one person’s perceived disadvantage doesn’t make someone without that disadvantage “privileged”. In order for “white privilege” to exist, you’re basically declaring that racial discrimination is the default/standard/expectation and whites are privileged because they are immune to this standard. That’s really the card you want to play? That racism is the acceptable norm, and you’re just p***ed that whites are immune to it? That seems kind of counter-productive if you ask me. “White privilege” doesn’t exist." [ 1/2] To be continued |
