Yep, Mike. Sounds Biblical. The Apostles warned of apostacy plaguing the Church and then also the increasing wickedness in the world....seems to be happening in this order..first relgious apostacy(liberal church) and from there affectig the world. Jesus warned that if the salt is no longer salty(if the Church becomes liberal) then there is little effect on the world and such salt is useless. Let this be a warning to the professing Church.

"Wash Times Editorial: Obama is a 'liar' on abortion"

Everyone has the right to liberty, including children who are not yet born. May Obama come to realization of this truth before the US is plunged yet deeper into problems.

From the Article: "protect religious freedom"

Will this "religious freedom" apply only to them or others who refuse to submit to the Pope or the Koran?

Revival begins with the Predestinated...the saints, as the Pslamist says.."Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice?"

There are a few good Bible only Protestant churches which have a liturgy as well, John. And they confess Christ alone as the infallible head of the Church. So you see, you can have the Liturgy without all the additional and unbiblical doctrines and traditions of men. God calls us to this..to separate instead of compromise. I tried to do what you are doing now and I could not continue in such a manner with a clean conscience. Repent and reform while you still have time.

Thanks for the input about Hillsong, Nathan. The Hillsong choir was here not long ago. I did not get a good impression about them. Very ecumenical. The Vineyard church in my town is like this also, promoting the slogan "Come as you are, you'll be loved"(in the phone directory on bumper stickers). With such unscriptural language, at what point can the preacher say it is time to repent of sins without getting opposed by comfortable pew warmers?

I agree also. I have no problem with a man of different racial heritage being President, but what it comes down to is what he believes and how this affects his work in that noble office.

I confide with you, CMT. Too much spiritual candy is usually promoted on many church signs.

I would not be so sure about that. There is still time to repent or else be part of the end times. For good or bad, the US is very likely part of the end times.
Considering how the US "controls" the world with its entertainment industry(which is quite corrupt) and foreign policies and economics, it is part of the end times, in my opinion anyway.

This is an abomination to us linguists..

From the article: "Now, he didn't spell "abomination" the smae as "Obama-Nation..."

Smae? Ok, maybe this is the northern Rocky Mountain regional dialect.

Seems news channels don't have time to watch for errors or they need better editors.
As for the topic in the article, yes, the US is committing great abominations..fornications of all kinds, among other adulteries. There is yet time to repent...from citizen to president.

Hi Mike. Good input from you also. Despite being out of the country, I did my duty to vote according to my conscience and I confide with you and the others concerning the results. It has been interesting to answer people's questions here(the other side of the pond) regarding this and it has been interesting to observe it from outside. I am sure there have been many discussions on the radio here, but how much do I understand what I hear...well....one word..President..lol, and the candidates names.

Depsite our objection to many who are now going to be in office, remember we are admonished to pray for those in goverment positions. I am not pleased with the results either. Complaining will not accomplish much, but prayer and faith will. There is still time so there is still hope. Pray for our leaders but also preach the uncompromised Word of God in season and out. God commands people everywhere to repent.

Good points from Lyn and Angela and There Is Hope.

Indeed. So these born again of the Spirit can then have faith and believe in order that they may be saved.
Jesus says in John 10:26 "Ye believe not because you are not of my sheep." Logically, one must first become a sheep. Or else He would have said you are not of my sheep because ye believe not and that would mean He is a god who is subjected to man and cannot act until man does something, which would make man more powerful than God. This is probably why the Apostles acknowledged that God grants repentance and ordains to eternal life and how we are born not of the will of man, but of God.(John 1:13, Acts 11:18, Acts 13:48) and Paul's discourse on predestination(Rom. 8:29,30, Eph. 1:4&5, 2 Thes.2:13). And the shepherd has authority over the sheep as the potter has authority over the clay.

No surprise here. We have programs to teach kids the ABC's and 123's. Should we then be amazed at what happens when kids view immorality?

Yes, Mike, but that crash in Eden was so bad, God has been needing to do some heart transplants and waking spiritually dead people out of their sins(Eph. 2:1, Heb. 8:10)

I am concerned by the last statement about the ministers in that parish...they don't care. Is that a church according to the Bible standard? They don't care? The Apostle Paul cared so much for fellow Christians that he was driven to tears and almost anger...dissappointment at least when they substituted a false gospel for the truth. A congregation should care. But then again, this is a local expression of the carelessness of the entire RCC..regarding its careless handling of doctrine and practice.
