When rioters physically attack cops, and you are stupid enough to side with the rioters, then whether you yourself throw a brick or not, sooner or later thereâs a good chance youâre going to get beat down. Duh. The way to avoid that is to protest the way Jim Lincoln does it. Stay home and lob marshmallows via the Internet.
Recently someone posted Psalm 11:3, âIf the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?â The foundation of the American justice system was originally the Word of God. Clearly this is no longer true. Now we have no foundation, and the building is falling all around us. As Lester Roloff said some forty years ago, âIf God were to spare America, it would be the first nation in the history of the world that ever was spared that was as wicked as we are.â And we are wicked because we have forsaken Godâs holy Word.
Boy, you really nailed it then, Jim. Why do think IFB churches run more buses into âthe projectsâ than any other group? Why, of course itâs greed. An average IFB church will invest thousands of dollars a year in its bus ministry, but the resultant offerings can sometimes amount to over a hundred bucks annually, so itâs pretty easy to see the financial motivation behind it all. And of course the love of money is what drives IFB churches to support more missionaries per capita than anyone except the Mormons. Just think of all the money that comes rolling in from places like Nigeria, Indonesua and the Philippines, where per capita income averages under $4,000 US per year. Man, those missionaries are mopping up! And I canât even begin to tell you how much dough we rake in from our homeless ministries. Yeah, bubba, itâs sure about that money.
Jim/Lincolnâs reply: Yes, indeed, 110 percent! Not only does Mr. Charisma require mask wearing at all times, even in the shower, but he has permanently closed all churches to prevent the spread of diseases as well as dissent. Of course there hasnât been much dissent since the fanatical branch of Christians disappeared last week. I was amazed that there were so many of them!
Why, Jim, the way you quote MacArthur ten times a day, I thought he was infallible in your book. I donât suppose you can explain why it was right for MLK to defy the government in order to stand up for civil rights but itâs wrong for JMac to defy the government in order to stand up for civil rights, can you? BTW, are you sure about that last item you posted? I donât know of any IFB pastors with a âboard of elders.â Itâs possible, I suppose, but not likely.
1. I was in the Navy. Circumstance. 2. I was stationed at Naval Air Facility Detroit. Circumstance. 3. One night I was on duty. Circumstance. 4. I overheard some men discussing the Great Tribulation and the Second Coming, neither of which I had ever heard of. Circumstance. 5. I decided to read the old Bible I had and see if those things were really in there. Circumstances being used by the Holy Ghost. 6. While reading the Bible I realized for the first time that I needed Godâs forgiveness, and that if I didnât get it Iâd go to hell. Holy Spirit at work after CIRCUMSTANCES led me to read Bible. 7.Didnât know how to receive Godâs forgiveness. Circumstance. 8.A few days later found a gospel tract on the side of the road. Circumstance. Read the tract and for the first time read the words âBelieve on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved.â Did, and was. Anyone who cannot see how God used circumstances to bring me to a place where I was ready to receive the gospel is probably worse than just blind. They are probably deliberately blind. And God has used circumstances in millions of other lives to prepare hearts for the gospel.
What do you mean what do I do with it? I believe it, and because I believe it I preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, and because I preach the gospel of Jesus Christ regularly I have the privilege of regularly seeing people come to trust Jesus Christ as Savior. As the old proverb says, âThere is none so blind as he who will not see.â
Yes, amen! Peace on the small percentage of Jews who are now saved, and on the very large percentage of Jewsâ100 percent, as a matter of factâwho will get saved at the second coming of Yeshua HaMashiach.
Sorry to hear about your nephew, Dave. Ladybug, no one suggested that God saves sinners through any other agency than the gospel. But if every saved person gave his or her testimony, it would show that God uses our own situations to bring us to a point where we are ready to respond with repentance and faith to Holy Ghost conviction.
