Banned~why are you so persistent in insisting the God has not chosen the Jews as His people? His word makes you out to be a liar Banned. You should be thankful to the Jews Banned, their rejection of the Messiah is what brought the Gospel to the Gentiles. Their defending themselves should continue as long as radical Islamists continue to fire rockets into Israel. Do you understand that if you have hate in your heart, you will be cast into hell? Read Matthew 5:21-22 |

Banned~You do a great job of sidestepping the real issue, your promoting of anti-semitism. As for Russian Orthodox beliefs, it is my understanding their teachings are similar to that of the Roman Catholic Church. They require a person keep the seven sacraments, that baptism cleanses away original sin, and claim their priests have power to forgive sin. None of this is taught in God's word Banned, so whatever your point may be, it isn't valid. BTW Banned, God says Israel is His chosen people in Deut. 7:6-8. Understand this banned GOD SAID IT, not me, okay? Does that mean they are 'special'? NO! It means God KEEPS HIS COVENANT PROMISES Banned. I am not concerned with people agreeing with me, when God Himself has declared the Jews to be His chosen ones, who am I, or you, to debate it? God spoke it, therefore, it isn't open for debate Banned. His word is the final authority. This is why anti-semitics have a hard time with the Jews. |

Banned~ From www.jpost.com, "230 killed as Israel rains fire on the Hamas in the Gaza Strip". From www.reuters.com,"Israeli warplanes pounded the Hamas-ruled Gaza strip on Saturday, killing at least 229 people in one of the bloodiest days for the Palestinians in 60 years of conflict with the Jewish state". The number of wounded stands at 700. Israel had sent warnings after weeks of bombings in Southern Israel. This is a retaliatory act by the Israelites, and again, Hamas was warned. The loss of life is unfortunate, this could have been avoided had Hamas heeded the warnings from Israel. 'Hamas means 'Islamic resistance movement'. Hamas' founding charter, writings, and many of its public statements reflect the influence of anti-semitic conspiracy theories' {wikipedia.org} |

For those who care to know 'banned's' true agenda, check out his sources, Texe's site-www.conspiracyworld.com/index0105.htm. Texe Marrs promotes anti-semitism. Links exposing his agenda include www.tylwythteg.com/enemies/marrs.html, www.mythandhope.blogspot.com/2008/07/texe-marrs-on-the-fringe-of-wacko-christian.html, and www.therefinersfire.org/challenging_texe_marrs.htm One of Texe's phrases includes 'Zionist warmonger'...sound familiar? Brothers and sisters, Banned has an agenda, he is promoting anti semitism through his rantings. I urge all of you to beware, compare Banned's posts with what the refiners fire says about the Texe character; Banned's postings are almost verbatim what this Marrs character spews out, conspiracy theories, Jews taking over the world, it's like a bad sci-fi channel. |

The Apostle Paul tells us God's plan for His chosen people... "I say then has God cast away His people? Certainly not! For I also am an Israelite, of the SEED of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. God has NOT cast away His people whom He foreknew. Or do you not know what the scripture says of Elijah, how he pleads with God against Israel, saying, 'Lord, they have killed your prophets and torn down your altars, and I alone am left, and they seek my life?'. But, what does the Divine response say to him? "I have reserved for myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal." Even so then, at this present time there is a remnant, according to the election of grace. Romans 11:1-5 'For I do not desire brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. And so, all Israel will be saved. verse 25-26 'Concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sake, but concerning the election, they are beloved for the sake of the fathers'. verse 28 |

GG~where did anyone state a hatred of sinners? To give a homosexual the Gospel is a wonderful act of love. Again, my original point was those who say, 'I am a homosexual' have sinned by proclaiming such. They are admitting, {whether they have followed through yet or not is irrelevant}, they desire same sex sex. You took this and misconstrued it with your comment on 12/23. The RCC's teaching that homosexuality is not a sin, just the act is, is wrong, and goes against what the Bible teaches. No one could profess to be a homosexual unless they had lusted in their thoughts GG, that is why they say, 'I'm gay'. BTW, from your 12-23 post, 'hell is full of people'...this isn't true; the great white throne judgment has not happened yet GG. |

GG~ there was no need to post the entire quote, the first part-'thinking sexual thoughts about women'- is sinful. I will not post Christ's teachings from Matthew 5 again, you can open God's word and read them for yourself, starting with verse 27. The point Christ was driving home is that even our thoughts are sinful; just because you may never have actually committed adultery physically, if you even look at women to lust, you are guilty. The thought life must be repented of as well GG, this according to the word of God. This is why the Apostle Paul says, "for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing EVERY THOUGHT into captivity to the obedience of Christ" 2 Cor. 10:4,5 It is essential to meditate upon God's word daily. |

GG~ Again, we must use the word of God as the final authority on sin. Matthew 5:28 says this, "But I say unto you, that whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart". In his heart translates like this~the soul or mind, as it is the fountain and seat of the thoughts, passions, desires, appetites, affections, purposes, endeavours. So, those who have sinful thoughts, whether they be homosexual or heterosexual, are guilty of sin. This is what Christ himself taught. The definition of homosexual-having a sexual attraction to persons of the same sex. To claim to be homosexual is to say 'I lust after same sex sex'. This thought, intent, and motive is sinful, this is the teaching of the Lord Jesus Christ. If a homosexual repents, granted by God {2 Tim. 2:25}, and receives Christ, being born from above by God's grace, then he/she is forgiven. That's why we cannot stray from the scriptures, because sinful men twist the teachings of the Lord God. |

DJC49~excellent commentary! The ACLU would never allow such a thing here in America, a 'Christian' nation. May the Lord bless you DJC49, Micheal Hranek, and all who truly belong to Him. May the Lord bless His people, "But you, Israel, are my servant, Jacob, whom I have chosen, the descendants of Abraham, my friend. You whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called from its farthest regions, and said to you, 'You are my servant, I have chosen you and not cast you away'~Isaiah 41:9 'Pray for the peace of Jerusalem'~Psalm 122:6 'Peace be upon Israel'~Psalm 125:5 |
