I realize this is far from being the first story of its kind, but I'll never become callous to these sorts of heinous crimes. I just can't believe the level of pure evil that mankind is capable of. Just as disturbing is the fact that afterwards, there's no doubt in my mind that these men celebrate with high-fives, big smiles, and sleep soundly that same night. I do believe the U.S. was established with Christian principles in mind; not as a Christian nation, but one with Christian principles. No one can become a Christian through obeying the commandments! And I believe that in the beginning our nation in fact tried to obey those principles to a degree. Anyway, Dr. Carson is correct and now those principles are ridiculed and rejected by the mainstream of our society.
I would have never imagined that this country would ever become what it has become. Old folks like me can perhaps see this more clearly?
