Calvary Baptist cannot be considered a Christian congregation any more than these two sodomites could be considered so. Another thing is I would leave the High priest position for the one who earned it by obedience until death even the death of the cross. He alone knows who to pray for in the world for it is He who overcame the world.

We must not decide who we will pray for but pray for our enemies

I do get your point on John 17 but we dont know who exactly is Jesus praying for BUT one thing we do know it for those whom he gave himself with blood and stripes.

Now according to God word he has saved sinners like these before.

1 Corinthians 6:9-11

9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

I am sure you will find yourself in one of the sins mentioned above.. Are you now to good to pray for the lost?

take note of what Christ says about the Laodicean church - it was lukewarm, it was poor, pitiful, blind, naked. Christ was outside this church. Again, those He loves and rebukes are the ones He calls out of this Laodicean church. The command to buy doesn't mean they had the means necessary to buy. If they were not dead, then why did Christ tell them they needed eye salve, for they didn't have eyes to see, or white raiment? They were not clothed with the righteousness of Christ. They trusted in their own 'works' and not in Christ alone. This is an apostate church.

You may cut Ephesians 2: 8,9 out of your Bible with a razor blade and paste it to your forehead and you will still be judged by your deeds, though your convoluted theology and doctrines of men and demons convince you otherwise. Not of works means the atonement of past sins only, not by circumcision, but by repentance and faith proven by deeds. After that you must expend every effort to make it into the Kingdom. You are not born sinful, there is no sinful nature to blame it all on and you are all in complete darkness, trusting in a false gospel that will lead you into the pit at the end. It does not matter what you believe, you are subject to God's judgment in the end.
