The kjv only debate is actually worth studying. I would recommend the sam gipp series - what's the big deal about the kjv. I actually had one of these vignettes acted out in reality and you may have experienced the same thing - in church we were asked to read out a psalm aloud. Well everyone had a different bible version and what ensued was a melee of sound -

I can actually tell very quickly whether someone is preaching from a non authorised text and the power is not in these bibles.

Dave I'm sensing something very sinister- the euro will crash when Greece leaves ( there's possibly another 4-5 countries not far behind). And the Chinese crash - I don't know much about economics but all these markets are linked and if the sub prime mortgage markets caused such worldwide economic ripples - what will these things cause.

I believe god can keep you all safe and well cared for. He owns the sheep on a thousand hills. All of your needs are supplied in scripture as these are promises- none of the governments can promise to keep us safe but God keeps his promises Amen...
I recall a time when we used to smuggle essential goods into Romania before the end of the communist era and I think we should think about ways to bless the Greek people.
