Amen, Brothers Remo and Tim. What evil is happening there is being exported here under the creep of Maoism. Not just PP but BLM, Inc with the Democracric Party.

Yup, lock up those Christians for exercising their First Admendment rights which are now all but abolished in some states.

Absurd arguments, Jim. This is a nation of the people, by the people ,and for the people according to our founding document. We are not under a governing regime that is of itself, by itself, and for itself. All of us here in America have a responsibility to stand up for a government of which we are a part to be a light in darkness and preserving salt in a decaying land.

Enough of your false flag cries of "dominuism!" It's fine if secular humanists impose their crowd-sourced morality on us. But how dare we stand for the veracity and morals of God's word outside our little circles? Because that's your next card.

Will your next call be for state's rights? No state or local government has the right to commit or encourage evil. There too, they are representative governments and the Lord's people are to stand up with their voices there as well.

At some point, you will have to come to the conclusion of who's side are you on anyway. I'm not arguing politics or civics but faith now, Jim. Who is on the Lord's side? Are you following Him?

I believe that 1 Corinthians chapters 1 and 2 bear heavily on this topic and discussion, but share only this small slice of a larger and more profitable pie:

But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of a man, which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have receiveth not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit, which is of God, that we might know the things that are given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the holy Ghost teacheth, comparing spiritual things with spiritual things. But the natural man perceiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him, neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. - 1 Corinthians 2:10-14

Might actually be higher, Brother Tim.

There is a significant cultural influence from Easstern religions like Buddhism and Hinduism. And the secular humanist influence is stronger than ever. All of these define "good" in terms they feel regular people meet. The Lord defines things different, finding none righteous, no not one.

It's arguments made of spider webs to feed us lies made out of spider and viper eggs. It's Isaiah 59, Brothers and Sisters. So of course they don't believe in any universal truth. It is increasingly hard because truth seems to always be subjective today -- look at any discussion of COVID-19 and you'll find a wide variety of opinions. Why? Because we all expect the truth to be subjective and supporting someone's agenda. In other words, we don't know what is actually true due to the amount of doubt injected into the data and analysis. Expand that to math. Foolish (Godless) people was to inject this doubt based on a false sense of racism into mathematics. In other words, someone else's truth can't be mine because I'm against that person who said it was true, even if the results are repeatable and provable.

I think this is a larger issue than 2+2, and one we in our camp need to pay attention to in how we deal with others. Still doesn't mean I'm accepting much from certain posters here though, based on a track record of injecting doubtful info and analysis into these boards.

At the root of it, truth doesnt exist because he lies dead in the street. Isaiah 59 is our society.

This is the reslut of critical race theory, which has declared mathematics to crafted by white men, and therefore, it is somehow then racist.

It's about time. I have always considered Mr. Falwell Jr. to be a poor replacement of his father. The things we hear from Liberty University these days are not complemtary. This latest episode hopefully will be the final straw. We know reasonable parents who have spent good money to send their children to this university. Even joking about marital infidelity... What about avoiding all appearance of evil.

I sincerely hope that Mr Falwell is led to repentance and wisdom that comes from a deep and sincere faith in Jesus Christ.

Typical Progressive response from Jim. Can't refute the evidence, impune the source.

I don't trust the Russians either. But the CCP is on the move and owns the Democratic Party.

This is pretty convincing evidence that the Cultural Revolution 2.0 is not limited to within the borders of the PRC but has spread further to the US. It gives credence to those, like me, who have suggested we are in the midst of a Marxist uprising. And it points to the growing spread of an incidious evil so pernacious as to attempt to slip in undetected. Some may cheer at its arrival. Others of us must fallen upon our knees before the Lord and cry for His mercy upon our nation.

Nothing like being in the South, Dr. Tim. Mama used to brag about having something blooming in her garden all year round and her ability to have a year round growing season. She would also brag about local muscadine and scuppernong grapes. Thanks for bringing back those fine memories.

I believe, Jim, that state and local authorities are fully engaged. However, the Senator obviously desires federal charges be filed. The AG is a key element to this effort as the appropriate point of contact for someone in the Senator's position.

We are at war with the spirit of Antichrist. In America, in an effort to suppress fundamental Christianity for voting again for President Donald Trump, a who’s- who of the Reformed/ Calvinist brand of the Southern Baptist denomination are doing a full court press to embrace social justice. ....I’m accusing the leadership of the SBC of being Roman catholic in their ability to cause the oppression of their own churches in the cause for the communists attacking our nation.
Brother Wayfarer, they are doing the same within the Presbyterian Church in America. At least for the regular Joe Baptist church, they can go more independent. We've known some independent Presbyterian churches over the years, but the term is oxymoronic. It leaves us without a home.

This is a fight for the hearts and minds of Christians. Let us not leave our first love, the Lord Jesus, for these fleeting fancies of utopia in our time based on Marxism. The Marxist wants to build what humanity lost in Eden at the Fall with their own re-created world, built in their own image. The Lord is coming back and will remake this world Himself. Better to wait for the Master than trust the hack now.

Jim Lincoln wrote:

Mike, as, the pope said prudence should have been in situations like these. Many people have freedom to follow Jim Jones to French Guiana. I would say they should have been discouraged from doing so.
Jim, no one can condone mistreatment of Dr. Fauci or his family. But there is a fundamental problem. The "truth" is notably shifting here and there. I can't tell you that I've heard the truth from anyone about COVID-19, because when the story changes, you know that there's something amiss. I'm not say that's purposeful, but if you want to rely on "science" and not engage your own powers of analysis of available data, which is an important step in the scientific process, you are leaving yourself vulnerable to severe manipulation, blowing with every wind of doctrine.

To attempt to equate not following social distancing guidelines to migrating to Jonestown is disingenuous.

Cultural Revolution 2.0 continues.

Those who will not be co-opted will be eliminated.

Jesus warned us that the world would hate us like it hates Him.

May the Lord uphold and strengthen our brothers and sisters in China. May their witness be bold and effective. And may the word of the Lord be spread liberally abroad, then not return to Him void.

So here's the problem. DoD is tied to Congress. So while Senator Cruz, to his credit, is sticking up for the rights of the "religious," there are other elected representatives in DC pushing for better protection of the LGBT community, and others pulling for particular pieces of the culture war. DoD cannot defend itself. This is, in fact, how women came to become part of the Armed Services.

Another factor is the promotion of liberal chaplains over Biblical ones.

The military was seen as one of the last bastions of conservative thought and mindset. How that can be attacked has been the focus of the Progressive Left for quite a while.

Certainly right, Brother John. We saw camera footage on the news the other night.

Ammonium nitrate is nothing to play with. There have been similar accidents here in the US.

I read elsewhere that the explosion decimated a large part of the city, including the Christian section.

It's a good reminder that our lives are in His hands. At any moment we could be ushered into the presence of the Lord in heavrn, whether that be thru a disease, other health condition, some sort of accident, or thru a purposeful act of violence against us. Are each of us prepared for that day?

It is also a reminder that our lives could be turned upside down in an instant. How would we then live, care for our families, and care for those within our churches?

Speaking of wives, Brother Frank, we received excellent news regarding my wife today. They caught the cancer early and she does not require any further treatment. Grateful for the Lord's lovingkindness.
