Bible readers shouldn't be surprised by this (Genesis 2:15; Psalm 104:23; I Timothy 5:8). God gave men a capacity and strength to labour so they can provide for their own, specially those of their own house. Women are not meant to do this or to compete against men in this arena.

Of course, God does give women work, keeping house and as keepers at home (Psalm 113:9; Titus 2:3-5). Guiding the house (I Timothy 5:14) is honourable as done unto the Lord; it is not degrading or second best.

I'm not buying it.

"Ye shall know them by their fruits. ... Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them" (Matthew 7:16a, 20).

"Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God" (I John 3:9).

It does not seem that Donald Trump has brought forth fruits meet for repentance (Matthew 3:8).

Reality check. Are people so caught up in fantasy that they are unable to discern the obvious?
lay off the entertainment pollution.
This must be the plot to control the population - creating ones own reality.
I think you're right. There will always be an inability to discern fantasy from reality if one's reality is not defined by the holy Scriptures. Entertainment is effectively used by the god of this world to blind minds and distract (cf. II Corinthians 4:4). "Reality" TV isn't reality.

II Corinthians 10:5 - "Casing down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;"

"So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them" (Genesis 1:27).

"Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created" (Genesis 5:2).

Oh, that men would bow to the simplicity of Scripture!

I prefer J.S. Bach and G.F. Handel among classical composers.

Psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs remain my favorite, however.

Marriage is clearly defined in the Bible (Genesis 2:24).

What need is there to rethink a doctrine that the Scriptures have already settled and made plain?

Good comments, Connor and Carl. This is just more worldly indoctrination that is antithetical to the Scriptures.

Amen, Allie and Geoff. I wish I had never gone away to college and that my parents hadn't been in favor of it. What a waste of their money and my time. It continues to haunt me many years later.

This reflects the truth that the majority of Americans have a low view of the holiness of God. How unfortunate that the majority of America approves of government sanctioned murder and treats marriage like some game.
True. There is no fear of God in their eyes, and God is not in their thoughts. I wonder how many with opinions contrary to the Bible profess to be Christian. It seems few truly believe the Scriptures.

I simply believe Hillary shouldn’t be allowed to run for public office, much less be elected, “solely because she is a woman”. If she were a godly woman, she would be at home or doing charitable work. She is part of our national judgment.
Good comment and agreed.

I read here daily, though my comments are fairly occasional, but yes, given that we're in the last days and that perilous times have come, it is difficult to read the articles here sometimes.

This reminds me of "...they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction" (II Peter 3:16). This isn't the first time Obama has misused the Bible.

Save for the grace of God, it seems this man's wickedness knows no bounds.

A good question, indeed. As much as they went on about healing, you would think such people would never become ill, go bald, need glasses, age, etc.

Normally whoever earns the money, runs the families. One reason why women should stay home.
Right. Here are some others:

"He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the LORD" (Psalm 113:9).

"I will that the younger women marry, bear children, guide the house, give none occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully" (I Timothy 5:14).

"That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed" (Titus 2:4-5).

Just yesterday, in my Bible reading, the Lord lead me to Genesis 34, Proverbs 7:5-27, and I Timothy 5:11-13 to show me the trouble that women get into when they don't stay home. Would to God that women could see that the Lord's will is for our protection, the betterment of society in general, and His own glory.

Thanks for your comment!

I agree! I believe it occurs when we define scripture by our cultures instead of the other way around. So, if I say that a woman should stay home and be a mother when possible; many will say that won't work in our culture. Now I will admit that might be true in many instances, but to yield to that is pragmatism. Men not being the providers, priests of the home, and protectors, etc.
I would rather live in a mobile home park if it meant my wife could stay home in obedience to my Lord and Savior.
Amen, and as you so often say: Come quickly, Lord Jesus, come quickly.

John for JESUS wrote:
The problem with this study is, it has a narrow view of adultery. How many churches are okay with a pastor being on their second or more marriage? The Bible says to divorce your wife and marry a new one is adultery also.
Yes, and thank you for bringing this matter up, as it's often overlooked. I cannot, in good Christian conscience, subject myself to the leadership of a pastor who is divorced and "remarried." I left a church over this matter several years ago. It was as if the pastor's adultery sanctioned those in the congregation to do the same. Several other pastors and deacons within this church, as well as many of the members, were divorced from their Biblically lawful spouses and legally (according to man) married to someone else.

The church's light regarding of fornication and adultery has undoubtedly paved the way for its growing acceptance of sodomy. I cannot be convinced otherwise.
