Why focus on only one sin? Just put a band on the baby's
wrist that says "sinner". That way you proclaim ALL of the
baby's sins and not just one.

Homosexuality learned...a choice? Perhaps, but I was taught
that the wicked go astray from the womb and are liers/sinners
even as far back as concpetion. (sorry, can't remember the
verses, but I think most are in the book of Psalms).

If homosexuality is sin and babies are sinners then it follows
that babies CAN be homsexual from birth if not before then.

It sounds like our opponents here are mistakenly presuming that
most if not all Christians are Pelageans, and thus cannot argue
against their false dilemma of being born gay AND "innocent".

I'm no expert on "religion", but from what I know I only
count TWO so-called "Abrahamic religions": Judaism and
Christianity. The other two (Mormonism and Islam) were
introduced by mere angels (Moroni and Gabrial), while
Christianity and Judaism were revealed by God, Himself.

Unless I'm missing something it sounds like we have a
LOT of REALLY dumb theologeons out there.

No suprise here.

Theists KNOW that they are being watched
24/7 by God himself, while Atheists think
they are alone as long as there are no
people present or attentive to their
activities, good or bad, so there is no
fear of doing wrong if no one sees it.

"Cavemen 'may have used language' "

Really? I would think that ANY gregarious, non-solitary species or
people-group would HAVE to have some kind of language or their social
structures would have either scattered or never formed in the first
place.

I swear, the older I get, the more moronic our current "intellectuals"
seem to get. Maybe so-called common sense takes a while to develope
in 'humans'. Too bad it doesn't manifest itself sooner. Otherwise
we could save a LOT of money on surveys, exploring or defining what
most people already know or could figure out thems

Why is TV promoting the occult?

Three words: Harry, Potter, and MONEY!

Or if you're less cynical than I am,
substitute the word "success" for
"money", as the third word.

Isn't Gov Huckaby from Arkansas a evangelical (Christian) pastor who is running for President. There are other choices out there.

I just want to know if anyone knows if Bob Jones III is a Mason? Only a Mason in Christian clothes would vote for another Mason (Mormon)

Good point.

Most if not all my own public prayers are performed
before I eat a meal in mixed company, but I usually
pray silently if there are no other believers present.

Seaton's post got me to thinking again how torn I am by
issues like these.

Much as I love to hear my savior's name on the lips of so
many people, I'd rather not hear it at all on those of non-
professors or anyone blatantly living like a non-believer.

The same problem came up during a recent memorial day
celebration, where the hymn "Going Home" was played for
EVERYBODY and not just professing Christians. It got to
where I had to turn the channel because I couldn't stand
such a generalized treatment of ALL our soldiers sharing
the same eternal destiny that ultimatly will contain only
those that are truely born-again.

WHEW!

Yet another bulled dodged.

Sadly, I suspect the enemy has many more to shoot
at us, and will shoot. Keep praying, everybody.

(Here I go again!)

A much more basic, effective, but highly unpopular
solution to this problem today is to just keep one
parent (preferably the mother) home to raise and
care for the kids (and take them to and from school,
the doctor, etc.).

This would free up the remaining parent to work in
the same company with the same treatment as single
workers, preventing such a "revolt of the Childless"
and other such resentments and problems arising from
modern society's continuing general revolt against the
traditional family structure.

When I speak out against homosexuality, my critics accuse me
of being in league with racists--even though homosexuality
has NOTHING at all to do with race. ARRRGGGG!!!

It's REALLY frustrating, dealing with people who have been
made so stupid by contemporary secular moral authorities,
including the modern public school system, as JHAWK44
pointed out.

I actualy thought this article was a joke when I first started
reading it. Somebody's pulling my leg, trying to scare me.

Not only is this moral decline very bad for us as a culture,
it also give more credibility to the rhetoric and actions of
our current enemies (radical Islamists) that we ARE "the great
Satan", and "must be destroyed".

God help us!

Tennessee Dan beat me to it.

I'd probably spend the time with loved ones, hoping the rock
would hit our side of the planet so we could at least get
a good view of what would have to be a pretty AWSOME sight.

Knowing that the Bible indicates the world will continue
until Christ comes, and not until it's hit by some big space
rock, would surely diminish my fears to some extent.

Then again I'd still have to deal with those who would believe
what the scientists have told them--that this is the end--when
it's actually NOT the end...according to the Bible.

On at least 2 occasions when I was witnessing/preaching
to unsaved co-workers, I was actually CRITICIZED by them
for wasting my time on them rather than going out into
the street or into some other country to try to convert
the unwashed masses there.

The same lack of perception on the part of these to whom
I was EVANGELIZING seems to be also held by some of the
believers on this forum. It reeks of high-mindedness.

Yes, God often sends us out to reach sinners but in my
case (more often than not), God has brought the sinners
to me. Problem is many of these don't see themselves
as sinners but as being superior to sinners "out there"
--in the streets and in foreign lands.

It may also just be their way of telling me to get lost.
