Attending a church service Sunday morning and then spending the rest of the day and evening watching professional sports on TV, or actually going to the game, where, with tickets, parking, food and drink one is forced to spend an astronomical amount of money has nothing to do with Biblical Christianity. I do not say these things with a holier than thou attitude, but simply as someone who struggled with these things and only overcame them by the grace of God and the blood of Jesus Christ.

John Yurich, why is abortion still legal? Why does the LGBT agenda continue to expand and gain acceptance? What does Jesus think about "staunch conservative God fearing" republicans who cheat on their spouses or get married and divorced multiple times? What does Jesus think about the fact that when it comes to balancing the budget republicans "kick the can down the road" just as good as any democrat under "satanic influence". Speaking of the budget and economy, what would Jesus have to say about the neocons who ruin our economy by continually expanding the industrial military complex? What would Jesus have to say about all the crony capitalists who send American jobs overseas just to save taxes. What does Jesus think about the never ending wars, conflicts, false flags, election rigging, regime toppling, our government is guilty of? What does Jesus think of all the innocent men, women and children that the US military has killed in all the UNCONSTITUTIONAL wars we fight? Do I need to say more?

Dear ladybug, it is comforting and refreshing to see that there exist people like you who have come to see that BOTH PARTIES are simply two branches of the same evil tree. Let me also say that it is very sad and disturbing to read posts on this website by professing christians who are guilty of worshiping their political party and making an idol of their political party. There have been numerous occasions when even though I wanted to make a brief comment I have chosen not to. Why? Because it is very difficult to have a constructive edifying debate with people (professing christians) that wear horse blinders. If it's true that we have the mind of Christ, and it is true because that's what God tells us in His Word, we need to do away with this dem. vs. repub. thing and actually begin to think and consider things in the same way that Jesus would look at the ussues we face.

I once listened to a sermon by Pastor Edward Donnelly in which he said that when someone first enters a smokey room, it bothers him. But the more that person stays in that smokey room the more things seem normal. I also once heard Pastor Joel Beeke say that there is nothing wrong with a boat floating on water. The problem is when the water begins to enter the boat. How true.

Do they ever hold prayer meetings and ask God to forgive the political leaders of the U.S.A. for all the unconstitutional wars the U.S.A constantly engaged in? Do they ever pledge prayer to forgive the nation for all the innocent men, women and children the politicians and presidents of the U.S.A. have killed with all these "just" wars? Oh, I forgot, we don't have to. God is forever indebted to bless the U.S.A.

Setting aside the never ending debate about whether or not the New Testament believer is still required to keep the fourth commandment, regarding which, in my own humble opinion, we are still commanded to observe. If one of us were to petition the NFL to schedual its games on a tuesday or thursday I don't think they would respond back to us in a kind civil way. There's a big reason why the games are played on Sunday. Finally, just one more reason why I can thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for helping me gradually get off the pro sports fix.

Strange, but in the Bible that I have, I can't seem to find any passages which speak favourably of skull and bones membership. I'm also going nuts searching for verses which say it's ok to participate at a bohemian groves ritual. All my Bible says are things like this:" And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?" "But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves." He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked."

Before this becomes another worthless and useless democratic party vs. republican party debate, what does the Bible say? " He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked." ( 1 John 2:6 ). Without being guilty of having taken too much upon myself, this "walking even has he walked", would seem to also include the laws and legislation that our politicians pass. Decisions made by federal and supreme court judges. This "walking as he walked", would seem to look with disapproval upon all the appeasing of special interests groups, personal agendas before seeking what's truely best for the nation and its citizens. It also appears to frown upon the trillions of dollars of debt that we have, the foreign policy that we have as well as the never ending amount of corruption, wars and conflicts. There is much more that I could say, but I'll stop. God bless all my brothers and sisters at SA.COM.

Dear Jim, you really love to play the democrat vs. republican, republican vs. democrat game. What about all the scandals that the Clintons have on their resume? Dear Jim, articles like these only prove one thing, that the United States of America has declined to such a deplorable level that we no longer have the oppurtunity of voting for the candidate who we think will do the most good, but only who we think will do the least harm. Dear Jim, I can understand these things happening here in Italy. Sadly, its always been this way. But in a nation that was founded by godly men and women, to be a nation governed by God's Word. This is very sad. But who cares. Lets continue with the democrat vs. republican thing. Guess what? Thats what every single career establishment politician wants us to do.

I would also like to remind everyone about all the heroin that flows in from Afghanistan. Which before leaving Europe makes a pit stop right here in Palermo, Sicily. Hey wait a minute!! As a child growing up in a typical middle class suburb in St.Louis county during the late 70's, early 80's. From what I can recall, I did not have any friends who came from a divorced household untill my junior year in high school. Certainly not because I did not want them as friends. But simply because, back then, almost no one got divorced. How times have sadly changed.
