Yes, that's what God tells all sinners good or bad..repent and accept Christ as Saviour or lose your inheritance of heaven and blessings in this life. Good answer..I have two cousins that were ( one died) and is a Lesbian..one nephew that is gay.

Oh no, my grandchildren are doomed..one has her cell phone glued to her hand and only looks up ever now and then to make sure I'm still there waiting for an answer to my question and the grandson who since a child has played games on his X Box is planning on joining the Marines when he graduates this year!! Can you imagine an army full of soliders raised on X Box games?!!

I would like to pose a question here but it doesn't matter what your answer will and it has nothing to do with what Joel Osteen thinks or believes. What would you do if you had a son or daughter that was gay? Would you turn your back on them or would you still embrace them and love them? Or would you consider them a lost cause and just give up on them? What if they were responsible adults with a child of their own and this child is a normal adult and a teacher that was raised by a caring, loving parent . Not all gays are the evil people we see in news and gay parades. Some are kind, gentle loving people. Not all unsaved people are serial killers or gang members that rape and kill. Some are loving, kind people that are responsble adults. How does God feel about these unsaved people..a lost cause that He cares nothing about? Or someone that He wants to come to Him and be His child? Just asking.

It is strange how this is world wide and just not in America..could it be because things are waxing worse and worse just like in the days of Noah? Jesus said to watch for signs of His coming by looking at what's going on in the world around us.

@ James Page..I sense God's love in you so strong that you would repent of any hurt u caused to anyone on this forum and believe me that is so refreshing. We all have different thoughts on different things but it all boils down to how you treat other people that do disagree with you..that's my thumb pointing a finger back to me as I point a finger at you..God's blessings on all..have a great day..shine yor light on those around who are still in darkness..and James Page please keep posting..God can really use your thoughts and inspiritions.

Actually your first post was what I agreed with. To me people can make an idol out of anything even what version we have to read to be right..singing Psalms is the only songs we can sing to truly worship. Sorry to both..I've been delivered from all that bondage. My God is much bigger than that and I don't even try to put Him in some box of my own making. You can disagree with me and you know what I won't even judge you for that..that's between you and God..not you and me.

@ James Page I agree with you..I read a book years ago " How to be a Christian Without b Being Religious". Its based on the book of Romans and helped me to understand what you just said so well. A very good read and since I was struggling with these very issues I will always believe God used this book to teach me some very important lessons.

Thanks Chris..you have been my encourager also..like a brother I never had. As a matter of fact I sense the love among all of you that can come only from our mutual love of God even when in disagreement..but that's ok too..I've looked at things differently in some of these different thoughts and insights, that I hadn't thought of before. There have been times I've actually laughted at someone's remarks..the only songs we can sing in worship has to come from the Psalms, for example Have a blessed, happy day, Christopher.

My sister believed in Jesus as her Saviour and went to Church with her family every Sunday..loved money, lied did lots of things that I thought unchristian..sorry for the long post..I need to change my post to long winded. By the way I loved my sister and tried many times to change her thinking and win her to Christ..always said I went to the alter and prayed when I was whatever age she said.

I see where you are all coming from and I appreciate you trying to clarify your statement.Chris, we are not suppose to be worrying about who is saved and who is not..frankly I'm thankful that I am not judge over this world..what a worry that would be. My only sibling who is 16 yrs older than me, passed away last week and I do not know where she is( heaven or hell). She claims she was saved but her life has proved otherwise..affairs all during her life even when married..had a boyfriend from her past up untill the day she died..her husband had passed away yrs before but his wife was an invalid still very much alive..finally she passed away. This was not a plontic relationship. He visited her in the nursing home and a sign was put on the door donot disturb..she has tried to seduce my husband and her son-in-law in the past. She loved money..but you could not convince her that she might not be saved just because she went to the alter once at a Baptist Church and you know she really believed once saved always saved. So I am not going there..God knows hearts better than I do
Billy Graham is saying even though these people knew nothing of Jesus they still had a heart for God and were different than some of the others. I know how I believe only one way and that's through Jesus but again

Mike are you saying God has no power over evil? I don't like obama any more than you do but the reason he's where he is now is because Christians didn't get out and vote..the Bible says that God puts kings on the throne and takes them off. You are missing my point..he maybe there because God is judging America..9/11 was a wake up call for America but looks like she has fallen asleep again. I'm still obeying God's word as long as he is our president..again Roman government was no better than this one, after all they are the ones that killed Jesus.

I believe God would have us pray for the president and all those in authority over us that they would be given wisdom and understanding in running our country..that those who aren't saved would receive Christ as Saviour..that we might live in peace. That's what is in the Bible and Christians were told to do this even though they were under Roman rule and perscution. Never once did He tell them to do what this man Joyner said to do. Things will only get worse until Jesus comes again and sets His Kingdom up.

I don't understand where you are coming from Gs, when you say the Graham family is loved by the lost world when Franklin Graham was not invited to the Prayer Breakfast at the White House because of his statements about the sin of the homosexuals..does that sound like he is loved by Obama or homosexuals?? I get news letters and his magazine Decision. I go to a Baptist Church..they have alter calls every Sunday and when go forward to be saved they are taken by a church member into rooms to be prayed for and whatever else they might need in the way of receiving salvation. The reason Billy Graham always had the song" Just As I Am" sang at all of his alter calls is because that's the song that was given at the revival he attended and gave his life to God.Why don't u read his life story before you Judge him!! Btw you apparently hate the man so not all people love him like you said..be careful..people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones..kinda paraphrased the scripture of the woman caught in adultry( whatever happened to the man?)

I have a friend age 45 that struggles with clincal depression..she has tried herbs, natural vitamins everything she could to ease her suffering she's prayed which hard to do when in a deep depression or read the Bible. She has finally agreed to start on medicine and she's still taking all the rest as well..it'so hard to make people who have never suffered with Major Deppression..totally different from from a case of sadness over some death in the family etc. This depression is a fatal disease if they don't get help. I had a friend commit sucide..my mother had thoughts of sucide once in her depression she was on Valium until she died because she was so close to a nervous breakdown and she was a devote christian..her brother shot himself but survived and was in a wheel chair for the rest of his life. I take medicine for depression and thank God that He has provided something to ease that suffering. My friend ask me why doesn't God heal her so she doesn't have to take medicine. I don't know the answer to that all I know is my doctor explained to me that I was born with low seriton and when under stress I lose what little I have..so I take the medicine and thank God
od for it.If I were a diebetic, I would take the medicine and watch my diet and thank God for it..just as my parents h

Yes, God does still work miracles and if you would open your eyes you would see. Where in the Bible does it say that the gifts of healing and miracles are no longer for today?? Everytime you have surgery and survive it is God that did it..He gave the doctors the knowledge to cut on you,the antibotics to heal you..the doctors cut you open but God makes the wound close up and heal. Have you read how penicillin was discovered by Fleming..he was working on bacteria in different petra dishes when a window that just happened to be open and a spore blew in landed in one of the dishes and the mold began to destroy the bacteria. The fact I'm alive today is because of cirumstances that can't be explained and I knew God healed me in 2004 of cancer in my Uterus..I had surgery but no chemo or radition because it was caught so early through unusual circumstances that I know it was God. He heals all our diseases..sometimes through doctors and medicine (a merry heart doeth good like a medicine Proverbs) Luke was a physcian. Sometimes through a miracle and sometimes he says" No, but my grace is sufficent"

I might add the crews would help out with any disaster that hit Katrina was one and there would be volunteers from each coop to go..my husband went to several areas..a tornado that hit in Nashville, Ar.was another..but like you said in your post " The Role of God in Natural Disasters"..never thought of it in that way..thanks for the reminder of God's loving Hand even in the worst of disaster and how it can bring out the good as people respond in love..kudos to your State of Nebraska for giving their prayers feet!
