This is a great Holy Ghost-wrought attitude, Bro US. Every Spirit-filled believer could say , "Amen!" to such a biblical thought.
Oh that we might all have a longing to "rescue the perishing, and care for the dying, snatching them in pity from sin and the grave; weeping o'er the erring one, lifting up the fallen, telling them of Jesus who is mighty to save"!
Most of what has been posted on here day after day is nothing more than a feeding of the flesh. I, in times past partook in these endless debates thinking I was doing God’s service for His Glory.Praise Him that he chastised this poor dumb sheep sorely, and showed me my sin.I kiss the hand that bore the rod.

Stated nicely, US.

Sounds good to me, especially with the Lord blessing it. I've never tried homeopathy supplements; do you get them in a jar or some such thing?
I've done my walk today already. The road passed through a tiny forest, and the pavement was littered with those tree seeds which come down like little helicopters. Some of them had made it into the road. It reminded me of the good seed of the word of God which is perfect but, like the seeds in the road and on the path, will not bring forth in some, owing to the lack of a suitable ground to grow in.
When witnessing to workmates, one would always tell me that the seeds were falling on hard ground. And he was right. Another one was more serious, and after a convo with him one day, he showed me a picture he had been drawing while we chatted. It was a picture of a devil and a deep blue sea, and him standing in the middle. It fair took my breath away.
We’ll never know this side of eternity the seed that was scattered by us, that we shall see some wheat, when we expected nothing but tares.
“God moves in a mysterious way His wonders to perform”.

Certainly you may intrude, Humbled.
I've never heard of fried soda bread, nor fadge. What is this?
There seems a lot of frying involved. My Lifestyle girls at the GP's surgery have got me off frying anything, as they seek to get my triglycerides down, cholesterol, that sort of thing.
My GP told me I would have to go on statins for life to reduce these dangerous levels, and when I pleaded not to have those, she said the only alternative was to go on the Lifestyle Course and reduce it through diet and exercise. So I did, and it has worked! Without medication, just correct eating, drinking and exercise. And I'm still working on it.
Anyway, if you can eat a good fry-up without ill effects, don't let me put you off.
Soda bread and fadge are an Irish bread. Fadge is made with leftover cooked potatoes and flour.
We don’t eat much fried anymore, not healthy. But, every now and then...
No statins for us either, diet, walking, homeopathy supplements, and God blessing it all have worked well.

Now that's real interesting bro! I would also like to know how you do your eggs, as there are several different ways of cooking eggs. I have been told that the most cooking of an egg makes it safer.
I have a very similar breakfast, although I am trying it without the bacon rashers (which I bought in the 'medallion' style, where the fat is cut off). And so I have two slices of wholemeal toast, two poached eggs (slightly runny, done in an egg poacher), and a small tin of baked beans. Sometimes I have sliced and fried baby button mushrooms, which go with it very nicely.
If I lived right by the Sea of Galilee, I have no doubt I would like to have fresh fish for breakfast occasionally, done in the Galilee way, of course.
Did you know that Christopher expressed a desire this morning to visit the holy land? What an experience that would be! But it would be a long journey from the States.
If I may intrude concerning breakfast, nothing like a good feed of fried soda bread or fadge to go with that rasher of bacon and fried eggs.
Yes please.

Thanks for posting up the KJV verses ladybug, the other version GNB was incorrect in its rendering, and is quite misleading.

I forgot to add to my post that James Guyo’s sermons are posted on Sermon Audio.
Be forewarned: most of his sermons are over an hour, but there is much honey in them as he always preaches the Lord Jesus Christ and His Gospel.

“ Excellent ”
Your teachings in the gospel of John are some of the most gospel centered and balanced expositions that I have had the blessing of hearing. You have surely been taught by the Spirit of God.Praise Him for raising up a few faithful preachers in these dark times.

Thank you Humbled for your post, and your great love in seeking graciously to get someone to change their self-destructive course. Older Christians always ought be always listened to, when they relate their Pilgrim's experience along the narrow road which leads to life. Many times, although much of this is related within the pages of Pilgrim's Progress, lessons are not learned by any other way than sad experience; it is in the nature of young ones to always think themselves correct. I myself went through certain chastisements from the Lord through a similar sort of thing you mentioned (it can become bigotry) and it took a long time to realise it, because "standing up for the truth" seems so valiant, like Mr Valiant-For-Truth in Bunyan's book.
But truth without a corresponding graciousness of life, and full of good works, and love for God and neighbour, can result in God saying, "I hate your sacrifices and burnt offerings", which, in essence, is, well.....
John UK, your last paragraph of your comment hit the proverbial nail on the head. Thank you your post.

Earlier I recommended Don Bells sermon Three Precious Treasures, the last six minutes of his sermon are a must hear for all who name Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
Do you have the love of God in you? Do I?
Please give a listen and answer this most important question.
Good night and God Bless you all.

If I may, the “Three Precious Treasures” sermon preached by Pastor Don Bell on March 11, 2015 is quite edifying.
It is from 1 Cor. 13:13.

How it would behoove us all to read and meditate often on 1 Corithians 13.
This has been impressed upon me by the Spirit of Christ often this past week.
May charity be rooted in all our hearts dear people, this is my prayer.

Ladybug, I can assure you I am no ecumenist.
You have laid out your Bible texts quite well, and all that is accomplished is others coming along and giving you their texts that they are quite sure explains their position.
What matters dear lady is the Gospel, and that God recieve ALL the GLORY.
Perhaps prayer for those you feel are in error would be more conducive than this constant jangling and haggling back and forth.
As stated before, I mean no offense but have seen a lot of myself in your comments.
Just some friendly concern. I will leave off now.
God’s richest Blessings to you and all in Christ.
